What time do you want racing to start on a sunday

To be perfectly honest, it was the best bunch of racers that I never got to race with.

:lol::lol::lol:
+1
I definitely agree. It seems so far this is a great group and everyone is acting like they are having a good time. I am glad to have joined, am having a great time so far. :)đź‘Ť

I'm glad you didn't race. I would came in one place lower.

man-o-man what am i gonna do.I originally picked the OFC cause it was premium,i like taking pictures and most of, nobody else had it!. I regret not swallowing the standard definition and i shoulda picked a car that was good, not that i liked. By the middle of the race i had become so frustrated, i was never gonna end up winning even i did have a fast car. I picture i was kinda like any b spec driver that when you push them to far they wipe out. Except i didn't wipe out(necessarily).

Great race today tho. It was much more intense and (to me at least) the action was much tighter. We had a great turn out, and i think soon people will be itchin to kick me out and get GOOD racers in.

Edit: I would love to get us racing more as practice, but have the sunday race be the whole enchilada. Just for the record, if im online, ill tune/practice with anyone. Just throwin that out there.

pic the cervo its also premium

What Aceboy did a 1:33 in race ??
Ohboy I only could do a 34high pre test with my maxxed beat (157bhp and 689kg).
But to get closer to the rest of the field I lowered the power to 138bhp and 732kg and still managed a 36.3 so maybe a bit lower ??

Well this puts a new light on the Mirra// Coure so maybe to get closer races limit your car too Aceboy ??
It´s up to you but me like close racing with plenty of passings etc. => ACTION BABY (Arnie style voice)

€dit: I would suggest a pp-limit of 410ish (400-420) because my maxxed Beat has a pp of 443 => why put it to 440pp if the Beat//Mirra stil would be the Rabbit-OP-Cars ??

During the race My beat had 130bhp, 50kg added (can't remember the original weight) and maxed aero to slow it down a little in the straights and I was having some good battles with the Cervo guys and Brugab in the Autozam. So I think i'll stick with those specs now and just change the aero a little.

I've had an idea for testing and a good way for us to keep track of our times. I got this idea from another group of people i race with every now and then.

I'm going to make a PSN user and call it something like K-Car Test Lobby. You guys add it as a friend and use that lounge to test the cars in. Then write your times on the message board. I'll just delete the times written on it after each race to avoid confusion. Sound good? It'll only come online when I accept friend requests but you can still use it's lounge.

Good Idea?

What's the PSN of this lounge going to be called then and we can all start adding it.

Even though I'm not going to be in the next few races I'm up for a bit of midweek testing - this week at least.

Ah OK then, my cervo has 420pp so i think this is a good option.

That sounds a great idea. Just to let everybody know for the next race dynamic weather will be on. I will be testing at some stage different settings to get the best time progression settings for the race. Just a thought you may want to make your cars softer and with more grip in case it does rain.

Cool, I'll make it soon.

I think we would all like this, though i don't think this would fit in my room.

haha sadly it wouldn't fit in my room either :c not that i actually have enough money to make/buy one of these. I guess i can dream ;)

I've made the PSN... It's KCarTuningLounge

Thanks Ross, I will add it soon too.đź‘Ť

Also, how is pp calculated?, anyone has an idea... because my car is around 445pp usually so much more than the cervos but by no means it is faster in top speed or other stuff... and its settings are quite good now... but the 420pp or something like that sound good to me.

We could do the testing this week for 420pp so we could compare times and slowly get to a decision. I think the worst option is starting to ban cars cause we will end up with a one-maker trophy or something...:scared:

we will end up with a one-maker trophy or something...:scared:[/QUOTE]

that could be fun actually but thats another cup then lets just keep it k-kar

Just let me know what will be the approved pp so when we test we can compare the results.

see you around

If we wanted to equalize cars more we could try an HP/weight restriction combo instead of PP restriction.

What is the car with less HP (and how much) and the car with more weight (how much?)? (after all tuning done) I would test those settings in the autozam (HP a bit inferior to less power car - cause it ranges a bit with oil changes and so - and equal weight to heaviest car) and post here the results.

to be honest I think HP/Weight limits will take away the individuality of the cars... PP seems to be working fine (just about)

I know the Suzuki Cervo only has about 130hp, while the cuore has about 200hp.

Not too sure, next time I go on GT5 I'll have a look and tell you.

Edit: It had about 408pp. Which is strange because the cervo and the autozam have a lot more... So I think because the beat is confusing me so much i'm gonna run in the autozam if thats ok with everyone.

OK guys little report:

Mazda Autozam Az-1 410pp

The car is faster than I was expecting... with the same settings that I used last race in laguna I was making 1.43 as best laps (1.39 with around 450pp last weekend)

Then I tested in the highspeed ring with normal weather, just changed the final drive to match a better top-speed to this circuit (220kph): my top speed was 205kph just before the first corner you need to break and my times were very stable at 1.23 (1.23.05 as best lap) and 1.24 when I messed up a little. If I lower the ride here maybe it goes a bit faster.

If you can test your cars with this amount of pp in both circuits and post your times we can see if they got more close than it was before.

cheers
