ill be there if there is a race. If we don't have enough people and you decide to cancel, lemme know. I haven't been in the mood to play GT5 for a while now. I literally played the last race and the was the first time in a while. Same with this race. I committed to this championship, so I'm not gonna back out, but otherwise I'm not really in mood to play it.

Um points go down to eighth place, but also do you really want to race with just seven people, i would rather wait a week and have 11.

Edit: I did want to race, but by waiting people can have a break, some racers are getting bored of GT5.

I have a feeling next week we will have a race. I just feel everyone has kinda been too busy to race. We will be having people returning next week, so there should be a good amount of racers.

I think you should introduce your points system. (the penalty for winning part) I think if Coxbox made it retroactive, it might pique the interest of those that are losing said interest...

Just a thought...

That does sound interesting, even I have less interest in the championship, I think this is due to participation, every week we have different divers, we never have a full grid of drivers, if everybody was to attend racing would be so much better.

Edit: I would not like to implement anymore things, I already have enough to do.

My interest in this championship hasn't waned, its my desire to play GT5. I'm at 95% completion and have little drive to collect 500 more cars and gold all the licenses. But i DO want to win races.

I also think half the reason is because the races are once a week. We started this before July, and its august and only have like 4 or 5 races done. I understand schedules get in the way. Oh well, I'm not gonna let it die,even you folks do.

And without sounding like a sore loser, because it our fault for not picking a faster car, but i think most people here are sick of the race being for 3rd. I don't like system of a down, but one of there lyrics is, "Always wanna play but never wanna lose."I think it applies.

i would never let it die, like yourself i do find GT5 a bit boring now, however i am totally committed to this championship.

To be honest that's why i get fed up of GT5, what i usually do is just buy random used cars and then spend time tuning them, it is also fun annoying people online in a 2CV.

OK I do not mind this penalty idea, along as everybody racing is in agreement, and that someone else takes care of implementing this, but other then that if these can be met we can add this rule to the championship. In fact they do this in British Touring Cars, the winner of the race is given more weight to add to the car.

Hi guys, I'm back and hopefully will race next sunday. Will be out at morning and early afternoon but I think I will make it on time! yeah!

Thought I just be back for tsukuba and would miss Grand Valley too... bit confused but well great! The penalty rule I think it would help competition and anyway it is used in a lot of real life championships. So I am ok with that if you want to go for it, and no need to ban any cars in the future.👍

Will try to show up today during day for a bit of testing so see you all soon.

Rules are rules, the whole point OF the rule is to help people who don't normally win have a chance. When someone who doesn't normally win,actually win, then they get the penalty also.
