I thought it was 10 points per win, but I could be wrong. I'd be glad to track it, but I'm not sure it's possible. I just assumed Ace was running on the honor system.

To do it right, Coxbox would have to have the 410 pp class (Ace) enter the pits with the limit set at said 410. Then he would have to raise the pp to 420, at which time Long hair and myself would enter. Then he would have to reset the pp to 430, and the rest of the field would enter. THEN, Coxbox would have to get everyone on the track, and line up the starting grid, because he wrote it down, and then we'd have to start the race. I've run in a series that employed this, and it worked, but it was a major pain i the a$$ for the host. I don't think Coxbox would be game.

If there is a way to verify pp from a replay, penalties for cheating could be applied afterwards, and I'd be happy to take on the responsibility of checking the replay.

I personally think the honor system would work, as Sakery, Long hair, Ace and myself have all admitted we've got an an advantage, and that racing alone isn't much fun.

I think this rule should be retroactively applied at 10 pp penalty per win. Next race...

Ace: 410 pp

Long hair and myself: 420 pp

Rest of field: 430 pp

Thoughts?

I'm down for the penalty if there is a easy way of doing it, not that way you wrote greest . And a no from me on the rule being retroactively.

Yep totally aware of that fact . But if we are going to implement new rules I think that everyone should start out fresh.

just for the record would the winner loose 10pp each time they win, will it reset if they do not win. Also the best way to do this would be to set the pp at 430, then the winner of the race can then adjust his pp accordingly.

Ok I am a little confused but does this sound ok.

If you win a race, you will loose 10pp for the next race, if you win again, then you will need to forfeit another 10pp and so on as long as you are winning. As soon as you stop winning, weather this is after one race or five, then your pp limit will go back to 430pp. You can lower pp anyway whether this is by weight or power limited.

I also agree on this also. if you read my above post, there's my thoughts on limiting the race winners car.

I have been looking into ideas of hosting other championships after this one, I have been looking at cars which are not raced, such as some random cars from the UCD. If we create another championship after this then we can create a list of rules which we all agree on.

Also I am developing a way of assigning cars for online championships, therefore people cannot just use the best car in the list. What I am working on is a piece of software which can allow users to enter a list of cars and drivers to which each driver is assigned a random car from the list. If I can developed this in C# then I will release it for the community.

Edit: I am also game for any ideas for cars and championships to race after this one, my ideas so far are the estate touring car championship, using cars like the Volvo 240 GLT Estate '88, as well as others in game. My other idea was to create something like this:http://www.2cvracing.org.uk/.

Anyway as I was racing I noticed it was pretty much always Ace, Greest and me fighting for the lead. So I was thinking maybe a Class system should be put in place (maybe K1 and K2?) With me, Ace, Greest and Sakery (If he's still using a beat) in K1 and the rest in K2. That way more of us will be fighting for the lead. Thoughts?
