The Le Mans General Discussion Thread

Am I the only one that finds that combination abit confusing? Are all three of them practically going to be driving both cars? Why not just have Briscoe and Franchitti in one car and have another hire another driver to fill out the other car with Tucker himself?

At least the P2 class will be a bit more interesting this year, I got excited and thought the total would be 6 cars now.. But I forgot they ran Sebring (and won?)

In this way, Tucker gets his (personal) share of the points no matter which car wins. Or at least finishes ahead. He's good at hedging his bets, that's for sure.

I don't remember last year's qualifying very well. I remember the year before, though, at one of the street circuits, Jaime Melo got hot-headed and rammed one of the Flying Lizards. Think it might have been Baltimore. And since Risi is back, I can only assume things will get hairy in general...

All 2013 cars or two from 2013 and two from 2012?

Audi showing off their huge budget once again.
Is Nakajima only a Le Mans gig with Toyota now?
Nakajima will do every round that doesn't conflict with his Super GT and FN commitments. So, unlike last year, he should only miss Silverstone and Shanghai this year.

Tucker (as others in the same situation) has to notify the officials as to which car he will get points for before the race begins.
It is a bit of a gamble.

But I hear where your coming from. 👍

Watch out LMP2, LMPC coming through.
And how about those Vipers?

Falken seems to thrive on these tight bumpy little downtown circuits. It's practically the only tracks where they're capable of getting some podium points the past few seasons, so I get why they're going balls to the wall. Surprised about Muscle Milk? I am. Sucks the Dyson entry got wrecked up a little on that last flyer. I was curious what the car had left in it to fight with. All in all very interesting.
