I hate this whole "Let's just do a white car with logos and a couple stripes on it" thing. Really? Why do they all have to be white?
There ought to be a silver or black at least. Heck, go for lavender. Or turquoise.

Nooooooooo. No Red Bull. Keep it away from WEC and Le Mans.
We are lacking some nice colour schemes however. USCC has some nice ones now, an old ALMS example that springs to mind is the RSR Johnson Controls FLM09.

In all that 919 excitement there was also the Oak Racing Ligier JS P2 revealed. This is an incredibly beautiful race car.

Yeah it's stunning. I hope they don't mess it up with some complicated livery.

Unless it's changed for 2014 then there's definitely a grandstand on top of the pits because I've been in it. You can see it pretty clearly on the right hand side of this image and here's a photograph from actually being in it on the practice days.

And yes, it does face the other grandstands which I suppose is something. Still doesn't make it a vastly interesting livery in my opinion really, needs a burst of colour or something.

Ah you're right I was thinking of somewhere else. Looking at my track map for this year.

Got my tickets for stand 34 this year my last aim is to find somewhere that will allow me to hire a helicopter to go LMP chasing.

Should be some helicopters to hire at/near the airport surely? I've won a helicopter flight for the event but apparently it can be difficult to get the prize out of the French for some reason...

Yeah I am, not media at it though - figured I'd like to enjoy the event and appreciate it for what it is before I delve into making it stressful. I've apparently won VIP tickets to it but I have no idea what kind of access they get me at the moment...kind of excited to see what happens at the event.

If you're around at all and fancy meeting up whilst you're there give us a shout!

Completely surprised to hear the Audi sounding more noisy then the last few years. Porsche sounds great too.

What really surprises me though is the full GT3 Spec BMW Z4s there. Last I checked, those things aren't at all eligible for either the WEC or TUSCC (in that spec of course).

From what I understand, the Z4 GT3s were there tire testing for Dunlop.
