You, AWD Drifting will always be there. If people in Drifting haven't heard of the "Art of Sideways" slogan then they can't see anything. Drifting is a "fun" sport. I believe in Drifting as the ART of sideways even if it is power sliding.

okay maybe your right i got nothing truely against awds. more against the noobs that think there good in awds. Slide what you want i suppose however it takes more skill to keep your rwd up with a awd.

ya know what, i agree with Nk4e. as long as your sideways, who cares if its RWD, FWD, AWD, or 4WD? like the post from today stated, he wants a setup to do some gymkhana stuff. cant say i blame him as im personally a fan of ken block.

because they are not the same thing.

true 4wd has a high and low range gearing *edit* by use of a transfer case

Er, as far as I know (and I may be wrong) that's incorrect. I was always of the impression that 4WD is a direct mechanical linkage whereas AWD is a bit more dynamic through the use of LSDs and computer systems and whatnot.

However...this post is completely unrelated to this thread, which really should be locked if we can't just let it die on its own.
