The mindset of online racers

I think the BOP was mostly fixed with 1.10. Besides the RSR being a bit strong compared to the rest of the field, there are multiple competitive GR.3 cars on any track. (and in tokyo you will get demolished if you race the RSR BOP)

Side Note: I think its funny to go from all the whining before about the megane and OP cars which was understandable as the megane is an UGLY car that ZERO people had posted in their bedrooms growing up. Now that the porsche is there i think people are too afraid it might get nerfed to complain about it. (maybe one of the best race cars in the game in sound and handling)

The 991 is a thing of beauty, I've had one of my scapes made into a 16:9 canvas.

I will make a prediction though, that sport mode Nurburgring if it ever comes back, will be full of M6 or AMG.

I agree, there is often only 3 non-porsches in the race, it's a bit sad if you ask me. But people just want "the fastest car" and by extension, just want to win. I'm here to have fun and do my best, different mindsets.

I also think the mass migration over to [insert car of the moment] doesn't help BoP updates, it just ensures the car of the moment gets nerffed.
I pretty much only race in the GT3 Merc and I have a great time vs the 911’s. The Merc is faster in a straight line and more stable on corner exit, so battling is actually a lot of fun!

I agree it’s kinda sad to see one car dominate the leaderboards, but I think it has more to do with ‘meta’ than what is actually best.

I think once the game opens up a bit and more tracks come into play, some of the tricker cars to get to grips with will be very quick.

of my 4 GT.3 cars, the 991 is the slowest... yes, I was shocked too.
458 fastest, but, good lord try and put 3 laps in a row together... Shame, doesn't take much to make it stable... diff/bar/shocks.
Aston next, sweet ride, been using this lately do to all the 991 presence. great brakes and turn in, little loose on corner exit.
Jag 3rd great car... a little numb to me, but good at everything, an aggressive driving style should like this car.
991 last, yet it suits my driving style best, and I can be deadly consistent with it... little lazy on turn in but so too am I, rockets out. Desperately needs re-geared.
Once the nurf'd the Peugeot, the 991 got popular, because well, it's an iconic car with a vast history of racing and legend.
I'm betting if half the people currently using the 991 tried the Aston and so I've read the Z4, we'd see a lot less 991's.

My god I made the mistake of trying the gr3 458. What an absolute hound that is. I like an oversteery midmounted car but that is practically undriveable. Especially if you're a no pitstop merchant like me. The Alfa 4C I usually use felt like a big stable bus after that.

Also re the thread title if you're getting nerfed left right and centre in an sr99 10 lapper, there is no hope. Or maybe it's Interlagos that's the problem. Either way just performed my first rage quit in a while.
