In your opinion, which country makes the best looking cars?

Those graphics are special.
Ah yes, I love these Dakota R/Ts. Such mean little trucks.
Seconded.

I also appreciate the Volares above those; the Super Coupe and the '80 drag car below it.

I've always liked M-Body Mopars.

and I'm still a bit annoyed that I couldn't find one of those Shelby Dakotas at Carlisle. I found maybe 1 or 2 original Dakotas, but no Shelbys.
One year only and just 1500 examples made, but that's still kind of surprising.

Yeah, that could explain it. But at the same time, you would think there would be some people trying to maintain it somewhere and would want to drive theirs out there.

EDIT: I thought of other cars from that show I haven't shared yet that would fit this thread.

and I saw you guys posting early Dodge Magnums before. Well, I did see a couple of those. It was just tough for me to spot them in my photo album.

Fuuuuuselaaaaage.
Quite the chop on that black B-van. Not sure how I feel about it. Maybe with a stinkbug stance and some Kustomags. Definitely digging the orange Street Van up-post.

Edit: I just noticed the Mirada at the very top is on Kustomags. The Cordoba below it is on OEM CMX 10-spokes; I ****ing love those wheels.

It probably shouldn't be a surprise that I love cars from this era. It's when I was in high school, after all. 1978-1981 Pontiac Grand Am.

So a couple things: 1980 was the last year for the A-body Grand Am and at least one of those isn't one.

The second example could be either a LeMans or a Grand LeMans, as they used the same shell with a different nose. The script on the front fender probably reads "Grand LeMans" because the LeMans (stylized "LeMANS") emblems used a less fanciful font.

Here's the nose the downsized Grand Am got:

That's a 1980. The two years prior had ten windows in the grille instead of six but were otherwise virtually identical.

I love that body shell. It's the kicked-up quarter panels. While I like the 1980 Grand Am, the 1981 LeMans variants are my favorite.

I was debating where to put these super sharp Buicks (and Caprice) because those are OEM wheels not originally offered on these cars. I think most recognize the 17" Impala SS rolling stock on the woodgrain car, but the foreground has wheels from an '80s Buick fullsize. Pity this is the highest quality shot I could find.

It's not a muscle car. It's a redneck sports car.
