is that some sort of alfa?

bit late for that. looks like you your gutted for the 4th time.

it seems to be moving, the next shot it was gone. and it's an LP640 RGT aswell!

one of these days, I'll be in one of the snapshots :dunce: . I've been thinking about driving to the ring this week.

Yeah, nothing fancy about an Audi driving there.

I would like driving or sitting along in an Exige Elise on the 'Ring though 👍

I spotted this weird Porsche SUV. Could this be some Cayenne-successor? There were two, plus a Cayenne Turbo...

^ With Cayenne Turbo

^ Two Mystery-Porsches + VW Wagon which was together with them for quite a while.

Also spotted today:

^ Some race-tuned Mercedes...

racebmwfp0.jpg

^ Slightly Ricey-looking old BMW 3-series, probably not an M3.

astonmartinvs6.jpg

^ An Aston-Martin/Jaguar I don't recognize.

porschesracingoldvsnewtz8.jpg

^ Two Porsches, old and new, which seemed to race each other.

EDIT: Is it just me, or does the 'ring seem very empty lately? The whole week wasn't very full when I checked.

EDIT 2: Porsche Mystery-car strikes back...

...And gets bumped by the 911:

I dont think you recognise that aston because as far as i can tell its actually a Jaguar XK, possibly an XKR. Seeing as Jaguar have there own testing facilites at the Nurburgring im surprised they dont pop up more often

As for the cayenne. I think thats the mule for the next generation Cayenne thats been seen around other places. The lights look different but its actually just some silver decals made to disguise the look of the car. The same has been done to the rear lights too. :)

Heres a link to the thread where it was spotted a while ago 👍

Hope this helps

Corrected. Any ideas about the Porsche SUV?

Yes, it kinda looks like a Gran Sport, but it's not. It is indeed a Jaguar XK, it doesn't have the turning lights below the headlights like the Gran Sport does.

Ciao!

I dunno, but it's been wet for the last couple of days (German winter), so I guess it's pretty empty, with a high accident-per-cars ratio.
