I've been basically living at the Airstrip. I've been having fun attacking Area 69 with the Hydra, and getting into dogfights with other Hydras, taking them down and taking the missile turrets in Area 69 out.

Thats fun until you acctually get hit by a missile, then your Hydra is completely useless and is a sitting duck. I find it hard to find other Hydras because when i see them behind me i turn the plane around and their gone. I just use the Hunter and shoot cars etc...


Ive also been playing GTA VC and im stuck on the mission with Mitch Baker where you have to cause maximum chaos by filling a chaos meter. Whats the best way(without cheats) to do this. The time runs when i fill about 2/3 of the meter. Any advice?

can you really 'take them out' ? Ot just shoot uselessly at them ?

Fly over Area 69 or get 6 stars works for me.

I can usually get 2 Hydras on me with 6 stars. Makes good fun around Venturas.

IIRC, if you destroy a car, you can keep shooting at its tryre and the meter will rise.

use an SMG or assault rifle or minigun--- you can shoot the cars anywhere after they blow up--not just the tires---

The minigun fills the meter in about 10-15 seconds. 👍

So how do you find them then? Whenever i find one, its dumb luck.

One way is too fly, actually glide, around in a circle holding the R1 button, generally I do it clockwise but it should work both ways. You should target another Hydra soon enough, sometimes you'll target helicopters, but you're bound to lock on on a Hydra this way. As soon as you do, hit the square button to slow yourself down, all while banking to the side. AI Hydras draw really tight turns, you have to mimic their pattern and get in their 'line', so to speak. Keep turning with them and you'll be able to shot them down with a couple missiles. Of course, if the target goes off the screen that won't mean you aren't still locked on to the plane, you just need to keep turning hard until you see it again.
Takes a few tries to get it just right, at times you might smash into the other Hydra if you don't slow down soon enough.

I like to follow them as they plummet to the ground and blow up, but I always have to pull up a mere second after they hit the deck, or risk crashing myself.
At any rate getting them with a Hydra is easy, try using a Rustler...

ok mate.

All you do is upload to imageshack. When you click the post a reply button you should scroll down the page and see an imageshack thingy. using that you can upload your pics to that, then just copy and paste the thumbnail for forums1 code into the post and then when you post, a thumbnail will be there for all to see. you can upload as many images as you need using this.

Absolutely! I`m going to surpass 2,000,000 in criminal rating soon (currently around 1,829,000). I may go for 3,000,000. There are still lots of goals I have & plateau`s I want to reach. Besides, all other games SUCK! :tup:

You wont get a whole lot of trouble from me for stealing your records unless of course they are racing records .

Are you interested in the racing records?

BTW i had a look at gameshark codes for GTA SA and there are super nos and no traffic, always sunny etc. though all my racing records are cheat free, its hard to tell if anybody uses them especially on the longer races, no traffic will surely help a lot.

But rest assured if you chase my racing times (or any other record) they are all 100% cheat free.

I didn`t enjoy the races much, I simply did them to get 100% completion(x5). Somehow, Gran Turismo 4 turned me completely against racing and racing games. I always loved the GT series, but I burned out for good. No more GT for me. 👎
I know what you mean about cheating to get records, though. It`s neither satisfying nor fun cheating to accomplish something, IMO. Congrats on your racing records, btw. The records I set require mostly playing time, not as much skill as the racing ones.

I played about 10 hours today,I made a big progress in my game, from 67.34% to 86.10%.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could do Pimping mission in a small area (some village in badlands for example) where you dont have to drive that long and you can complete it fast. Any suggestions?

No, you can take the missile turrets out, both at Area 69 and on the Naval Ship in San Fierro.

And GrandpaLonghair, about the blow up heli's, i meant the method not the cheats . I spent a few hours in the hunter flying up and down LV airport blowing them up, whilst Integra GSR used a tank and its turret and drove up and down shooting the parked planes.

What was your method.

O.K., I didn`t know what you meant by blow up heli`s. Yeah, I used that method for some of them. I`ve used the Hunter & Rhino in that manner. But I`ve also shot down thousands as well, using the minigun, sniper rifle, heat-seeking bazooka, Rhino, and Hunter. Also, 99% or more of the planes & heli`s were destroyed when I had a six-star wanted level.

The headshot thing isn`t as boring as you may think. I actually used the M4(mostly) for them. It`s as simple as getting close enough to the target so their head will get blown off, rather than just killed. Just find a large crowd of peds, & start blasting! It still took weeks to get that many. I currently have about 53,000. It`s the same save my records are on, but I`ve got over 432 hours of playing time on it now, as opposed to 319:17. I intend to post new records one day, which`ll include at least 150,000 headshots.

Oh, one more thing. You asked me before how I acheived so many kills, and my answer was kinda vague. So, the answer is, my #1 priority is about destroying law enforcement. Secondly, I wanted to set records only by equaling or slightly surpassing the playing time record, which I did (319:17 vs 319:16). I didn`t want to have 800 hours of playing time, & everyone thinking that`s the only reason I was able to break any records. You see, I wasn`t sure which records could be broken (by me) within that limit. If I broke one, I would then concentrate on another one I felt was attainable. The long-winded point is that I didn`t really ever focus solely on kills, they just rack up as I carry on my beloved 6-star wars with law enforcement. It so happened that my number of kills eclipsed the record, without me going past my self-imposed time limit.

If you`re really interested in the girlfriends, collect all 50 oysters. Then "the one in Blueberry above Ammunation(Helena)" won`t care about your appearance at all. The same goes for Barbara, Katie, & Michelle. CJ can take them to bed from the first date on.

Does the pizza boy missions count towards your game percentage?? If it does where can i get one easily without randomly running into one?
Im currently @ 95.7%, its VERY annoying coz i dont know what else to do apart from the firefighting mission, Bloodring race and the gun range which are too hard!!

Stupid Pimping Mission. I've done till level 9 and when I was going to to the last one, the stupid cutomer jumps in front of my car and Boom! Over! How ****ing annoying is that?
