would molitovs be better ?

Maybe...but I'm kind of used to the dynamics of SA and VC so throwing things might be a problem for me, but it would help nonetheless.

Awesome.

Yeah, I guess GTA isn't being played often enough. I've been playing Vice City, but I haven't got anything to post really. San Andreas is past it's prime, so noone's posting records.

I'm still lurking-- just haven't got alot of time to play-- I've been working on setting up a new 135 gallon marine fish tank lately---taken up alot of my free time--that and my 2 kids, work, wife, girlfriend, etc.....

Does anyone know a good place where I can find an Esperanto in Vice City? I'm doing a speed run and I'm at 2:44 and just need to get an Esperanto and do the last two missions. I'm not sure but I think I can beat my record if I can quickly get an Esperanto.

in my speed run, here is what i did--

save at the save point across from kens-- reload-- the car across the street and to the right is randomly generated-- whether its an esperanto or not, get in it, different classes of cars make others of the same class spawn-- i have no idea what is in the same class as the esperanto--- anyway start driving toward SSA across the bridge and looking for the esperanto-- if you get across the bridge and haven't seen it-- reload and repeat-- it might take you a while, but eventually you should find it and be relatively close to SSA with only 2 minutes or so tacked to your time--- hope this helps.

you can also just try reloading at the hyman condo-- head to the street to the west and look around there for one-- I seem to remember finding it there my first time through.

I gave up with this speed run. Not only because I can't find the Esperanto, but I also failed a mission and did Hit the Courier twice.(I had the plates and was driving back, and when I got to the Printworks my car caught fire and exploded, but for some reason I saved after that. :dunce: ) So I'm pretty confident I can start over and probably get 2:45, maybe less. I'll try what you suggested Spuds. I'm also wondering how long it takes to do the Film Studio missions. I think I'll have a go at those real quick to see if it would be worth it to do that instead of SSA.

I'm not sure, but the more I think about it, the longer I seem to remember it being--

If forget all you do for recruitment drive, figure 5 minutes each for (dildo dodo, marthas mugshot, and G-spotlight)-- I think its possible to knock out SSA faster then 15 minutes total-- using that spawn trick-- I think the only real way to knock time off SSA is to be constantly looking for the cars and utilizing the 3 garages on the first island and buying SSA right after shakedown so you can deliver them, then being efficient in delivering them (when you are heading that direction).

School's. Out. For. Ever.

I just finished my schooling. All I have is the HSC (Higher School Certificate) testing to go, and I'm completely school-free. Right now I have 3 or 4 weeks free, then only 6 days in a period of 4 weeks to do my tests. Very happy and relieved.

has anyone seen a map for GTA III for finding packages and things like that? I have seen lot of descriptive hints, but no maps like with SA....

I miss the socialising from school, but other than that I dont care that its over.

Has anyone ever seen territories to take over outside San Andreas?? Because in one of my games the Ballas have a huge territory over San Fierro and the Vagos have a square over the boating school after the San Fierro toll bridge. It was VERY hard to take them over because there were only a few gang members around, i did it by finding them in thier cars and shooting them and when i started a gang war, only 1 wave came with baseball bats and pistols!!
This hasnt happened to any of my other saved games, has it happened to any of you?

Also, where do you get the Sandking??

I've played 4 different games, and have only seen the Vagos territory by the boat school...and they ony had one wave to take over... it was a pain to get them going though, I figured out by the fourth round I played that just standing in the field close by, a groupe of them will 'spawn' by the side of the street, 4 or 5 of them...otherwise, you will spend hours trying to find 3 of them in a row in cars and such...

this known-- happens in almost all games... the general concensus is the mission st marks bistro causes this--- somehow going way out to sea makes gang territories get created all over the map--the longer you stay out, the more territories spawn--- everyone thinks the game originally going to have territories all over the map-- lemme see if i can find a pic for you----

So I’ve been listening to Chatterbox lately … I love it! “Arrgh, but the killer bees are nothing compared to ants. You can’t kill them … they’re like sheep. They’re going to take over!”

when you get all them gangs to they shoot at you?

Sounds like something to do.....

IIRC – They act like they would in Los Santos and you can take control of the territory etc. like you would in Los Santos.

I wish the gangs fought back a bit... Ive got all territories in LS and the gangs are gone! It would be nice if they took back your turf, but only if you didnt have to "protect your turf". I like taking over but i hate having to protect it. So after 3 - 4 hours of gameplay youd see they have regained 3 or so territories and you could choose to fight them or just let them have it. I dont know its all a bit of pain also, takes so long to take over the territories yet once you hit 100% the odd gunfight with gangs and no worring about cops could become fun.

GTA 3 had a little over the top gangs lol, It was nearly impossible to drive a car through the mafia territory without getting shot to bits.

Exactly. I'm always driving to El Corona just to start fights with the VLA's, I'd love to have the Ballas or Vagos in it again.

Speaking of gang glitches, etc., I saw a couple Ballas spawn just west of Angel Pine once, they were driving down the highway in a Tahoma. I took care of them, but since they were only 2 no 'gang war' was triggered. I had already taken over everything and gotten to 100% too.
I also recall seeing a couple gang members around Bayside a long time ago, they looked like mob guys. That was before going back to LS and having to take over everything again.

Ive been playing GTA3 recently and your right about the Mafia. After 2 shots from their shotgun you and your car are gone because you cant bail out if it catches fire. I do like it though because because you actually DO fear going into mafia turf which makes it a little more realistic.
The cars are quite a challenge to drive in GTA3 and not being able to swim has failed me a couple of missions but it is refreshing to play it again..

Anyway so in SA if you fly out longer on the Marco Bistro mission, territories spawn elsewhere?? and when they do it isnt minused from the San Andreas territory? so if you do it you will just have more territories to take over?....cool 👍

and where do you get the Sandking, ive never seen one...

What you mean the car park at the Big Ear? because ive been there a number of times but all i find are Ranchers and Motorbikes or do you mean literally under the radar?
