If I only had time to play...

Just so you all know... my latest kid joined us a little early... born on Mar 3.... he was a bit early and spent 10 days in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit)... his lungs weren't quite ready--he got some oxygen for about 7 days and they just kept a real close eye on him (monitoring his vitals 24/7).... all good now-- he never was in real danger-- just needed extra care... he came home monday-- been pretty easy on us sleeps pretty good for a newborn... my middle child has been a little jealous-- especially when he sees the little one with a bottle-- so for the next week I have 2 kids under 1 year old :eek: then the middle one hits the big 01.... my oldest has been very helpful (fetching stuff)-- great for a 3 1/2 year old...

I've snuck in a bit of Battlefront II when time permits (not alot of free time)... haven't played a GTA in a while--looking forward to returning to Liberty City..
 
How heavy (in pounds) was your new born?

Well, from the looks of having two kids under a year old, Spuds is quite the machine! :lol:

Just kidding. Good to hear that the little one is safe and sound. Either way, I'm glad he was born in March. :sly:

5 pounds 13 oz-- babies usually lose weight the first week due to eating so little (small stomachs)-- he was 5 pounds 15 oz when he left the hospital...

Probably not... the wife wants a girl still... I told her if she wants a girl we will have to adopt-- we could keep having boys indefinitely...we would also need a bigger house.

I was just messin aroun din a turismo and if you use Nitro, you can get some really awesome jumps. I nitro'd around the mine, and there's a pathway that leads out of it, across the road and down an incline (towards the petroleum pumps/pipelines), towards the train tracks. If you follow this path it goes strait to the raised bit of the tracks and if you hit it just to the right of the railing the car can go VERY high and then if you're lucky, you might hit the pump that was moving and get in about 800 degrees of rotation.

Thats good news 👍 congrats.

He shares his birthday with me - i also spent time in NICU 👎 - but i ended up ok (some might disagree with me on this point)

Just to update, kid is doing just fine.. 2 months old, he weighs about 12 pounds now... is just starting to give big grins now... still not sleeping through the night but he is getting there....

I guess this would be the place to ask if anyone knows where you level up between High Roller (In San Andreas) and the next Criminal Rating? I'm currently at 330,000 +/-1000 or so.

God, I hope not. It just seems to have a very Vice City-ish feel to it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But it seems as the graphics belong in a The Sims game, and I can forsee difficulties with the HUD map...
 
Oh yeah, I just realised that was a map!

I assumed when I saw it that it was a table with boxes on. I didn't see the "N" part.
 
Anyone know of/got the time to make an Eating Locations map for GTASA? It'd be quite useful for long chases to know where there's a vending machine nearby...

Haven't played San Andreas in ages. How would i find out if i completed the paramedic, vigilante and firefighter missions because i cant remember if i have...
 
Hey Spuds, assuming Blake ever updates the SA record book, are you gonna update the overall standing board sometime down the road? I`m wondering because I plan to do a be-all end-all update of my killing & crime stats soon, probably in Feb. or March.
I can assure you that my overall kills record will be one for the ages! :dopey:
 
Just send me a reminder after he updates the stats--

I know its been a while-- It will take me about an hour or two to go through the stats.. just depends on how much stuff has changed... I should be able to find some time to update the rankings...

I just realized that the last update I did was on a hard drive that crashed... I have back up copies of the spreadsheet but I don't know how far back it goes the more changes I have to make to the ranking order, the longer it takes...

If Blake doesn't want to run the book anymore, someone else might have to step up.... I was the 3rd person to run the VC one (why it says V3.0)... the previous 2 people each did it about 2 months... I took over in Jul 03-- I was the only person that could keep up with all MY updates... ;)

I plan on getting an early start on killing records for the the next GTA, assuming it`s as fun to kill as it is for SA & VC.

Oh, and congrats on your Bearcats beating Rutgers! :D:tup: Next, watch what Ohio State does to Florida in the BCS title game! HA HAAAA!! :mischievous:

I've had bad luck with other GTA style games so I'm gonna give it a miss. I bought Driver 3 and it wasn't a patch on the GTA games (much prettier but nowhere near as fun). I rented True Crime: Streets of LA and it was a bit crap too. The Scarface game was also very dissappointing.

However, I bought myself an Xbox 360 and I have Dead Rising. There's plenty of awesome gruesome killing and record breaking to be done there to keep me occupied for a while.

Or what you could do is update it for blake-- what you do is, click reply to his posts... this will give you all his formatting tags... now copy the entire post... and paste it into a new post... remove the quote tags....

Now update this, then after; PM him or Famine to copy it over to the recordbook posts (blake could copy it the same way as you-- Famine would have to click his edit button and copy it over).... ..

You might want to check with them first... or just ask if Blake intends to update it any time soon...he might just be in a time crunch (like me).

of course UC's B-ball is pretty much done now... their football has been pretty solid for a while now (they almost beat Ohio state a few years ago when they were also #1)
