Driving a Wiesmann Roadster with a roaring E39 M5 V8 oiled my gears quite well ...
until I had to get out of the car. My 1.90m in that car was a tight fit :D
Would have been easier to get out with a can opener.
But a really fun car.

On topic of yesterdays posts, last weekend I saw an Caterham which was pretty cool to see on actual roads.

On thread topic, what oils my gears is having discovered that I can now drive a full lap around the Green Hell pretty decent 👍

Practice, practice.

I was just on the Book of Many Faces (facebook) reading some of my posts from December 2010, before I signed up to GTP and then it hit me. The realization of what GTP has changed in my life. Yes it's a site that when I start talking about people start shouting nerd at me. But that isn't quite the case...

GTP has changed me for the good. I've learnt how to put a sentence together properly, and I even remember to put a full stop at the end of each post whether it be here on GTP, or on the Book of many Faces. I've been able to keep reasonably up to date in the automotive world and the world in general, I've met some great people. Even found more ways to expand artistically and creatively. I've learnt a lot more about computers, and learnt to do things I never thought were possible in life and on a computer. My posting style and the content of those posts has matured from the posts I see on the Book of Many Faces from December 2010. This isn't things I've learned in general, but just from being a GTP member. GTP has made me a better person, and I really can't thank Jordan, and all the GTP staff enough for it. Not forgetting to mention all the friends I've made here at GTP... Yeah, you know who you are... So yeah, thank you guys. You all Oil my Gears right now. 👍

I feel honored now, man, even though you've got quite some more GTP history than I have. On topic, that post oils my gears.

Thanks Skython.

👍 I agree with everything there. Though of course it hasn't made me better, you can't improve on perfection. :sly:

That the Uncharted 3 soundtrack is on iTunes, that I'm done with drum line for the week (which is only good because I can't stand one of the kids there, he seriously makes it less fun, buy I love it otherwise), and I have next Tuesday off.

Today in auto we learned about rotary engines and N2O, two things I've really wanted to know about for a while!

Also, a couple of friends asked me to go service a movie with them tomorrow, and them girl I like will be there!

Off topic but since my gears are so oiled I really just want to talk to people! Will some of you please PM me?

@rb26x: I saw the massive air duct that sits atop the edge of the rear deck and I was like, "Humnahumnahumna Countach Humnahumnahumna... ARRGH!" (the arrgh is the result of me not getting a picture)
That would probably give me chills, just awesome.

Yup sure do. I never see anything nice around anymore, last thing I saw was a BMW M3. I saw some cool stuff in the summer though like a BMW Z8 and two MKIV Supras and a Tesla Roadster in two days. :D
There's MKIV, MKIII, and MKII or I Supras around where I live, all stock but still cool. I only ever saw a truly nice lower-end sports car here when a friend's friend brought his stunning EVO VIII and a friend's awesome '05 WRX. Other than that cool cars are spotted in Ocean City, MD!

Something good is going to happen then
Why do you say that?

Anyway, onto the gear-oiler. So I've been playing GT a lot more with my wheel, and going into Nurburgring rooms often. I love taking out street cars on sport or comfort tires for laps over and over, if I like the car, it's so fun. Because of it, I seem to be the fastest in nearly every Nurb. room I enter using street tires, and it feels good to know I've improved. Also, I got my permit today, and got to drive around the neighborhood in my mom's Chrysler Town & Country, what a sporty car! I felt funny driving it, being how large it is, especially driving for the first time that much, and I was actually having fun with it. I wish my mom wasn't with me though, I know it can do burnouts with the high-mileage tires... :dopey:

Had a really weird assignment due today. It said it must be posted before 11pm today so people can comment on it until Monday when it's officially due. However the assignment is set to private so no one can see it. I emailed the teach but he didn't respond so I just said screw it and Cramer everything today to get it done. I assume it's a mistake by the teacher but at least I don't have to worry about doing anything else for the rest of the week.

You just got me in trouble for laughing in class.

You're not missing out on much with the Book of many faces... Believe me.

I feel honored now, man, even though you've got quite some more GTP history than I have. On topic, that post oils my gears.

Thanks Skython.

I don't have much GTP history even. I just appreciate it. :D To be noticed here you need more than just 119 posts. ;) Post around here more often, man! 👍

You bet it gave me chills. When it drove away I was in a state of confusion, amazement, and rage.

I go to DC once in a while and sometimes I'll see something worthwhile there. (a few that come to mind are a NSX and a Cayman) Other than that I strain to see cool stuff where I'm at, although a few weeks back I saw a M5. I even managed to get a few crappy iPod pics of that. Knowing that I'll be able to get semi-decent pics of cool stuff now that I have my camera back oils my gears. But if only if I would've had it on me when that Countach appeared...

Now for an actual Gear Oiler, rather than the slow chat that keeps creeping back in....

The Mitsubishi Evo VI (6) Tommy Makinen edition. I have the Premium version painted black with white multi spokes and a Carbon Bonnet.

It is modified with height adjustable Sports suspension, Sports exhaust, manifold, cat, ecu, race air filter, intake manifold, dual plate clutch and sport fly wheel.

I have made it to closely represent the Evo I drool over on ebay, it has 387 hp, the real life one I like has about 390.

I freaking love this car, I do believe it has become my favourite GT5 car, which seems mad when you have Ferrari's and Lamborghini's in the same game.

Current gear oiler for today, finding my old Pokemon cards in an old box was quite a interesting field day. I can't believe how many I had, ahh memories...

I'm feeling pretty good right now. I have the house to myself, which means loud Black Sabbath, which usually puts me in a good mood in itself. Earlier today, though, I got a 57/55 on a math quiz, and as I want that to be in the 90's most of all my classes, that made me happy, since I have an eighty-two right now. Also, I get to drive the same car that I always thought was the coolest thing ever as a little kid, my dad's Camaro. No, it isn't amazing, it's a stock '95 V6, but it's in such great shape, has leather on the steering wheel and shifter, and has the most comfortable interior to me, since I always rode along in it. It just feels weird driving that car after riding in it in my carseat, but I'm glad I can start driving, because then I can go out more, go to places I want a little more, and in summer I can take my time getting out of work, as I will be getting out at some time after 11:00. Good day today.

57/55? Where did the extra two marks come from? Sitting nicely? Leaving an apple on the teacher's desk? :P

No, it was a world problem using Law of Sines. It wasn't that hard, but very few kids got it. It was about finding the radius of a ferris wheel if you knew the ferris wheel had 16 even sections, making each triangle between two cars 22.5 degrees. The rest of the unknowns could be solved by what we used on the rest of the quiz, but kids for some reason were using the arc length formula and other weird things. I'm just glad I got it right, it should shut my parents up about slacking.

Oh no! The world of Trigonometry. :scared: It is a realm that is completely unknown for me this year... I think it's the teacher's fault. :P

Pre-calc is full of it.

Anyway, to avoid slow chat...
I'm going to the poconos now, so I can practice driving on narrow roads with almost no traffic whatsoever. Just the occasional car. That's a lot less to worry about.

What?

Started a new site. Everything seems to be running pretty smoothly. If all goes well I should be able to watch any movie in the world in HD on any device.

It feels really, really good to eat in this certain restaurant again.

I used to be a regular customer there, I go there most of the time to take my dinner after a day's full of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune. I haven't eaten there for pretty long, but now, I ate a dish of pork chop finished with herb sauce. It was medium-rare too. Was extremely delicious. Hell I even asked for another plate of rice

Oils geared? Definitely... waitwhat :boggled:
