Obviously there are a few exceptions, but if I had to opt for a new stream of American cars to enter GT5, it would have to be some of the finer muscle cars that were produced back in the 60's / 70's.

I fixed it for you. 1970 (MY 1970.5) was the last year for muscle cars that were worth anything.

Just to let anyone know, no go on the 4PM Release of DLC, probably around 6 PM EST (Same time I head for basketball practice, I can wait for DLC though!).:)

'71 Hemi 'cuda is the most valuable muscle car.

Boy oh Boy this 2.03 update and third DLC sure are exciting.

Loving the dim weather, it creates the most realistic experience possible.

True, I guess I should have said "last year for any muscle car with balls" as the main reason the 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible is worth so much is the fact they only made 11 units.

Any else notice the last couple DLC car packs we're getting a lot of European car models?

Not complaining, just makes me wonder...

We still have to see new dealerships being added though, so far we only got new additions from brands already having Premium models, think new Opels and Vauxhalls may pose a problem for PD since they have to model both LHD and RHD interiors, since there's no such thing as a RHD Opel (they're called Vauxhall) or just include one brand ofcourse.

I wonder what the aero options will be like for the Beetle.

Think either a no bumper option like the Fiat 500 and Mercedes 300SL and/or a unique aftermarket bumper like the Samba.
I do hope those American Racing Vintage Torq Thrust alloys are available like they are on the Samba, or maybe those NASCAR wheels could be nice when painted Silver Chrome. :D
I will at least keep one Beetle with the stock wheels and if they only offer contemporary wheels like they did with the Fiat 500 I keep them all on stock wheels.

While your statement is pretty much true, I still consider the Trans-Am 455SD a muscle car.

A Hemi 'cuda would take up about 1/15th of the 20million credit cap we still have even after this 2.03 update.

Nice, I finally get to install the update this morning! So, what do the Australians here think we're going to have to pay for the DLC? According to gran-turismo.com, it's AU$ 5.60 for the speed test pack, and AU$ 8.45 for the car pack. What are your guesses we'll actually have to pay in the store? AU$ 6.95 for the speed test pack, and AU$ 10.95 for the car pack maybe?

As of now 3:35 pm cst in north america there is NO sign of a dlc in the store at this current time. Will check back within an hour or less

The world is changing, Opel is launching in Australia this year!

I understand where you are coming from. It's just hard for me to consider a car powered by a 455ci motor with <300hp a muscle car.

They added to the dealership in GT5P with updates.

Totally agreed.
Except there are a few 71's I like. Either way, we have many muscle cars from the 60's already, it's the more modern era American cars we don't have many of anyway.

Anything higher then 10lbs per 1HP is a slug!!! LOL

Myself 6:1 is when cars actually become fun.

Besides with the LSX of today. I'd ve pulling any motor from any muscle car and swapping in a masterpiece. Maybe even go twin billet 70 ball bearing turbos. ;) those would spool decent for the size. LoL
