The Opel Calibra and Apricot Hill

As I had said so many times in the forum, in Arcade Mode, I have no problems with anything except running an Opel Calibra at Apricot Hill, any mode.

Whenever I hit curbs or explore the adjoining countryside, I get a large "Out of Course" sign on my screen, and lap sectors have time added on accordingly. There is the added time in brackets, punctuated by an exclamation point. By the end of the lap or race, I have accumulated 41 seconds in penalties, regardless of result.

That said, does anyone know of anything which could explain why this is happening? For instance, is this another PD goof-up, or an addition that never made it? I am afraid to drive Opel Calibras now.

That's a defininte glitch, I have no idea why it would happen. I've never seen "out of course" at Apricot Hill ever....but then I haven't driven any Opel Calibras in GT2 at all.

Also, I don't off "exploring the countryside" as you say (other than the occasional spin-out, that is). Where are you driving exactly when this sign pops up?

Well, you know that first turn on the regular circuit? I have a tendency to take it incorrectly, and when I went off at the inside, the "Out of Course" sign came up... It has also come up at the first S-kink on the infield of the track, but the first location is more frequent.

And no, I don't try to figure out my surroundings, but I can't help it...

Are you driving the Arcade version of the car, or the one from your garage?
If you are driving the one from the garage, you will have to use the VCD to transfer most of the power to the rear wheels.
If you are driving the Arcade version of the car, go to your garage, and make the above changes.

Many of the 4WD arcade cars in GT2 have a strong tendency toward understeer.
You can also alleviate some of it by going into the option screen and turning off driver aids, such as traction control.

In point of fact I'm really not sure if there is an arcade version of the Calibra.
fIt's been a very long time since I've played GT2.
But if you properly sort out the torque situation, the car will be much more pleasant to drive.👍

You can use the Calibra in GT2's arcade mode, but it's from you GT mode garage. There is no Calibra in the Arcade modes car selection.

As for the "out of course" message, I've never seen that pop up. Ever.
