Burnout
The focus was good, just use a slightly smaller aperture next time. 👍
Yep..

I almost don't use manual focus becaus I take photos of cars, most of them are moving.. 👍

Yeah, exactly. And the last one is Hong Kong (almost obvious).
Do you know Macau? I was there for 15 days on vacation. Loved it! 👍
I was borned in HongKong

I just wish I could attend the GP there. :grumpy: 👎
You have attended a few, I assume...?

Hey guys! Big fan of all your work. I quite often come in here, and cruise through the pictures.

I am taking a photography class this semester, and I thought I would share some pictures as I get them processed.

Now remember, not only am I shooting the film, but I am developing it, and making prints from it myself. Perfection is not going to be acheived easily. Also, we are required to shoot in Black & White, and using nothing but our manual features on our camera's. The F-stops, the shutter, and focusing of the lens.

These are also being scaned in, so picture quality is lower then the print.

With that my first two pictures are of my new niece. She was born last friday night. I took 24 pictures of her, these are the first two I have made prints of.

The second has some dust on the film, plus there are things in the carpet:

I would share more as I get them done.

^Sweet. :)

Nice to see someone new around here.
Good luck with those photography classes. Don't forget to show us what you've learned. ;)

Speaking of Macau, I decided to share some more pictures I took there, all B&W as well:

This last one is my personal favourite.

Those are really cool, DM. I like the last one the best too. 👍

Good job on the photos and developing, Magic! 👍

I love Macau because it reminds me Monaco :D
A hill facing the sea and the most technical race circuit
I have never been to the GP since I am used to be very young
parents always locked me up :(
so I only could watch it on TV
but I heard the channel only covered a few races recent years
not like they used to in 90's ... so bad

sorry for being off-topic
those B&W are really nice 👍

franz, locked up as a prison..? Or just not allowing you to do fun stuff?

To bad I don't live in Asia, soooo beautifull.. I live in The Netherlands, almost the smallest and richest country in the world.. -_-' Our colonies mastered like whole Indonesia actually, and that is 20 times bigger!!

I don't have pics this time, sunday I'll take some pics at the bridge if it's good weather..

I have very strict parents ... so no fun for me

I think european countries are very beautiful in general
many old buildings are very beautiful
excellent source for photography

Hmm.. My parents or sometimes verry strict, but sometimes they allow me to do anything.. :ouch:

Here, we don't really have old buildings.. Only thing I really want to see is the Nürburging.. We should went 2months ago but suddenly my Granddad's life was hanging between life and death.. Docters see tomorrow is the last 24hours :guilty:

Today it was really bad weather and it's raining now.. Also verry verry verry windy.. Pics of my cat tonight or this weekend..

Looking to start taking landscape photos soon real soon, i have some idea's for some landscape photos.

Ditto.
That mix of colours (and its reflection on the water) is beautiful. As per usual, the framing is nice as well. 👍

Agreed, cool pics, .star. 👍

I took some photos tonight. I might be posting a few up later tonight.

Alrighty, prepare for thumbnail overload.

I went out taking some pics tonight and I forgot I had set my camera to ISO 800  So I thought I'd try something a little unusual and go for an "old film photo" look. I like the way a few of these turned out.

Sepia :)

Time for some color! 1.6sex exposrue @ f10 iirc.

I think these are horribly blown out but I really like the effect I got after a little curves tweaking. :)

Kinda looks like an explosion :)

Thanks for looking :)

EDIT: Cool pics antihero! I really like the last one, despite the ghost on the right. :P

Wow. Where do I start...

ITR, nice variety you have there. Love pictures #3, 4 and 6. Really beautiful. 👍

antihero, I like the "dawn" effect in the second one. Probably it was taken at dusk, but it reminds me of being up until very late. Really cool. 👍
