Have my children Charles. As i've been saying on msn and devart, awesome photos. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, and 9th are all beautiful. Contrast is a bit over-the-top and harsh which makes them work so well. Keep it up.

:embarrassed:

Thanks, antihero. :)

I really had fun shooting these. I saw those churches and I yell STOP THE CAR! lol so we pulled over and i got out and shot a few pics. :)

Nice photos ITR. 👍

I suck.

These are all I have. The saturation may seem high, but that's really how it was (overexposed on purpose).

Got my hands on the Fuji Finepix s9000 today. So far, here's what I found. Fuji is run by cheap mofos

If you're going to include a memory card, fine. But for god's sake, don't ship a 16mb card with a 9mp camera whose RAW images are 18mb each :irked:

no rechargable batteries included - just a set of standard alkaline. Not even a charger

Noisy as effing hell at anything above ISO400. ISO400 and below, it performs better than the Drebel XT.

Digital 'optical' viewfinders = not cool

9 megapixels rocks my socks... if only the damn camera came with enough memory to shoot more than 3 pics at 9MP fine :irked:

2 more weeks to hand in the review

Integra Type R

Sounds like you've got a handfull there.
amazing picture quality at anything below ISO400 though 👍

If only I had enough batteries and memory to last the review period :irked:

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, ITR.

Love those market ones the best. The first three are great as well.

Exactly. 👍👍👍

@vladimir: nice colours on that one. It's just a shame that it isn't perfectly symmetrical. 👍

I bought a new digital camera recently and have been itching to take some nice pictures but the opportunity hasnt arised yet.
Heres a picture i took that i like. I took it on top of a bridge on the motorway. What do you think?

For some reason imageshack wouldnt let me upload it, because its ''pornographic material'' so i had to rename it and save it again on MSpaint and now it works. Why is this? i have a feeling it has something to do with the jpeg encoding??

Any tips or anything to get some intresting pictures etc... Im trying to be artistic but im still only a newb to this stuff :indiff:

The work on this thread is VERY good 👍

does your camera allow you to manually set the exposure time? then you could use a tripod or put the camera on the bridge to take a picture of the motorway with a longer exposure time, thus blurring the lights of the cars for a fancy look.
i'd also suggest resizing the pictures for webuse to make them better to view on screen.

I`m a newbie digicam "photographer". I was wondering if someone on here could or would suggest a camera adjustment which might alleviate my tendency to take shots that are underexposed. I know having more light helps, but that`s not always possible. I simply have no clue which parameter(s) to tweak on the camera. The camera in question is called a Canon S2 IS, if that`d help. Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍.

Hi there.

If you usually use your camera on "P" Mode, try messing with the light metering (I think you can't change it in full AUTO Mode). Try the Spot Metering in order to keep the spot you chose to focus with the right exposure.

If simply there's not enough light, use a higher ISO value (although your camera is known for producing high levels of noise above ISO200...) and/or use a slower shutter speed.

Maybe the "pros" here can give you better information, but I hope that helped. 👍

Ooohh, really cool antihero. 👍 Love them both.

Here is something I did tonight. I was bored, so don't be too harsh. :indiff:

Awesome pictures antihero and Integra Type R. It's always cool to come in here and see some of the things you guys shoot. I would love to take pictures like that, but I lack the creativity. Keep up the good work guys. 👍

:) Thanks for the support, Slick 👍 I feel like I lack major creativity most of the time. Like i have short bursts of creativity and I do something really cool but then the other 99% of the time I turn out nothing but crap. Oh well.

Just keep on trying. Sometimes the strangest subjects make the coolest photos. 👍

Thanks DiabolicalMask.👍 I`m noticing a difference, but it`ll take more time for me to overcome my incompetence as a photographer :grumpy:.
