Show me the BLM supporters who set up nooses or carried zip ties around to take hostages or drove around with trucks full of napalm bombs. And that's just in 24 hours.

TIL that the Trump rally is a "fringe political group".

I also learned that Ben Garrison's Twitter feed @GrrrGraphics has been shut down by Jack and his evil leftist anti free-speech mob.

This is for you, Ben.

@eran0004 graph shows that the Capitol insurrection really was the Miley Cyrus of riots and came in like a wrecking ball. I know the BLM riots (not the protests) went on longer, but the situation at the Capitol could have easily gone on for days and we're still not out of the woods yet. I have to imagine the Trump cultists will attempt something again on Inauguration Day if not sooner.

Sure, as long as you kill fewer people than some other arbitrarily chosen event, your attempted coup is perfectly justified.
Can you point out where my post justified anything?

By the way, here's what happens if you take the duration of the events into account:

Oops...

Oops? This is really a ridiculous way of looking at it. "We caused more damage but it's not that bad because we spread it over several months".

Now aside from the damage to a democracy that an attempted coup will cause being incalculable, I think you maybe underestimating the cost this will carry with it.

Pretty much every electronic device, fitment, etc will need to be replaced or fully audited, as the assumption will have to be made that foreign agents may have been in the crowd and the IT infrastructure compromised.

Then you have the damage caused to works of art, the clean up from human waste (yep they did that as well) in public areas, the potential for stolen classified information. I can keep going on with this, but it’s quite, quite different from people invading a 7-11

That aside, yes that’s exactly how you do a comparison between different events, that it didn’t result in the outcome you wanted doesn’t change that.

Were you under the impression that the maga damage was done? Aside from super-spreader events, riots, terrorism, and attempted terrorism, we're just getting underway here.

Shall we also calculate up what the attempted damage totals up to? Because the answer is democracy.

You have the wrong user in your quote. ;)

Sure, it’s the image you posted that compares the storming of the Capitol to the BLM riots.

Why? If you cause more damage per unit of time then you’re arguably more violent.

Something seems off here, that address appears to be upscale condos and the sites domain is registered in Panama. Granted neither of those things mean much, but they also indicate that more research is needed before posting an address as with the current climate who knows what could happen.

Granted I couldn’t access the site, so perhaps there’s info there that sheds more light on where exactly they are based.

I should also add that my issue is more with the posting of the address, not people calling out the website itself.

The address was on their site, though it doesn't specify 300 unless it's on another page. So it could be anywhere on that block. They also seem to have 3 other locations in Europe.

All the more reason to not go around posting it, potentially putting innocent people at risk.

If people want to go after someone, which they should, it would make more sense to go after the actual website, not an address they may or may not actually be affiliated with. Posting the address with the “how well do you know your neighbors?” line and no info about the actual website doesn’t serve to reach any positive outcome, it will just cause tension to increase.

Oops. Well, I guess I'll post them here too!

Warning for some written language but I mean...it's in Spanish. I have no idea what he's actually saying lol.

And the classic Downfall meme. It starts slow but gets better.
