What's remarkable is how compassionate and empathetic most of the comments are. (Admittedly, it's early days yet.)

I'm not going to do the "if the positions were reversed" thing that some people like to do here but would just like to reflect on how sympathetically Donald Trump would react were he actually made to watch this video.

i wonder what can be the benefit for the current white house administration to grant him a pass if spicer and newsmax will undoubtedly twist the facts no matter whether they are sidelines or inside the press room...

Giving them a pass will sort of legitimize their standing as a press...

But keeping them out is also dangerous proposition, because another party such as the last one could very well keep unwanted press out just based on mood...

I guess my question is how do we determine when Free Press no longer become "real" press and act on it??

I guess there should always at least a duty to call out and to point out lies right away and fact check... in today's digital world, it is of the utmost importance to ensure truth is not tampered with...

Perhaps the benefit is for his pass to be refused so he can yell "censorship".
