It's also their agenda. The base doesn't particularly care about the outcome of that lawsuit, indeed it's likely viewed as "the elite" going after Fox out of fear.

One of the more peculiar characteristics of the Trump era has been the new found enthusiasm of conservatives decrying American militarism - previously always a bedrock principle of conservative policy. It's hard to know what the pros & cons of the air strike were in an extremely complicated military & diplomatic situation, but there's no indication that any Syrian children were injured.

I'm not anywhere near religious, but I seem to learn more about Christianity recently, quite ironically through conservative "Christians" doing things the Bible teaches not to do. Apparently in this case, that statue being a Golden Calf.
