Too large for democratic sabotage.

I think Chrunch is somewhat aggrieved by @TexRex's "Modern American conservatism is mental illness" catchphrase and is attempting to use these ladies as some kind of counterpoint or "gotcha". See below.

Yes. That's the problem. Foxies are fed a constant diet of the kind of things Crunch has posted, as if this is somehow what the typical "liberal" espouses. On the other side of the equation, the issue isn't that a few fringe, right wing extremists are advocating the violent overthrow of the Federal government ... it's that tens of millions of "conservatives" believe a load of nonsense about the 2020 election and continue to support a lying, narcissistic conman who encouraged a violent riot to prevent the proscribed certification of the election results. Worse, the majority of Republican Senators & Congressman still have not come out to denounce Trump's seditious actions. There is absolutely no equivalence between a tiny handful of "woke" individuals who wish to self-identify as birds or cakes & what conservatives and Republicans are doing.

It's sometimes referred to as the nutpicking fallacy.
Yeah, but I think the intent is to imply "but you nutpicked us Trumpies first" in a display of bad faith whataboutism, when of course Acyn/RightWingWatch etc are doing nothing of the sort.

It isn't nutpicking when it's folks like SCOTUS and the former guy who are pushing these ideas front and (off) centre, while cake gendering is not Democrat policy and most libs and leftists probably don't even know or care what it is.

It took us 50 years to overturn Roe vs Wade. We worked hard, won elections, and put conservatives on the court.

Worked "hard" by consistently lying through their teeth. "We can't put a justice during an election year & we'll nominate people who will say Roe V Wade is a settled matter".

I don't like AOC...but this is ****ing fantastic and Lindsey Graham is a little bitch.

Oh my god, AOC is such an idiot. How does overturning Roe v. Wade affect gay people at all?

You think they've finished?

That they've done in Roe vs Wade and they are going to leave it at that?

They've already stated quite, quite clearly that's not the case, and that's what is also what is being referred to here.

You didn't give a **** when they came for women, maybe you will when they come for you?

Amazing what Googling does. Who's the idiot in that tweet thread again?
Cathryn Oakley, an attorney with the Human Rights Campaign, the country’s largest LGBTQ rights group, stressed that the high court’s decision will have a direct impact on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people.

“The LGBTQ community relies on reproductive health care. LGBTQ people seek and receive abortions, they seek and receive and use contraception,” she said.

For example, lesbians (22.8 %) and bisexual women (27.2%) who have been pregnant are more likely than heterosexual women (15.4%) to have had an abortion, according to HRC’s analysis of the 2017-2019 National Survey for Family Growth.

Due to issues including abortion-access barriers and health care mistreatment, over a third of transgender people who have been pregnant considered terminating the pregnancy themselves, and nearly 1 in 10 of them went through with the attempt, according to a 2019 report published in the journal BMJ Sexual & Reproductive Health.
“Many LGBTQ people rely on assisted reproduction,” she said. “If the law believes that human life begins at conception, that means those embryos in the petri dish are legally people. That would make IVF impossible to really function,” she said, referring to in vitro fertilization.

The clinics that provide abortion often provide gender-affirming health care to trans people, such as puberty blockers and hormones.

“LGBTQ people receive a range of reproductive health care from clinics that provide abortions, and having those clinics be open and able to operate are important,” Oakley said.

Great argument there.
Not arguing, laughing my arse off you think this is a purely straight-folk issue. I'm just hoping you're trolling, because there's no words for how insane that is.
You people act like the court outlawed abortion. They did not. The just returned that power back to the states where it should have been all along.
No, the power should have been with people who are or can be pregnant all along (which is essentially what Roe vs. Wade recognised). This is not a federal vs state issue, it's straight up human rights.

Nobody gets to use another human's body for their own benefit, health, or self-preservation. Nobody. Your body is yours, not anyone else's.

If you don't get that it's literally a waste of time even speaking to you, because you simply don't comprehend that every other right you have comes from that one. And SCOTUS just decided that the state you live in can decide whether you have it or not.

Nice goal post move. If it's up to the states, why is the discussion already been from McConnell & Pence for a national abortion ban....

You people do know what that means right? Or do you wait for a Republican to tell you how to think about that?

HVAC company took out an ad in a newspaper and it's ****ing fantastic. Strong profanity in the share and a mildly profane word prohibited on GTPlanet appears partly censored in the ad, just not censored to the extent expected on GTPlanet.
