I driven actually two, and dude is right. Sounds like he stuck a nerve. Hipster much?

Yeah, I'm a 38-year-old hipster, but with a wife, kids, home, aversion to malt liquor, and no iPhone, tablet, ironic fashion sense, nor much of anything else but a career, bankwad, and a college degree.

I'm just pointing out the stench of ignorance that pervades this forum.

Hipster most certainly do not drive prius's. Anyone been to Williamsburg (nyc) lately, your going to find a bunch of frail looking vegans riding expensive fixed gear bikes around.
Oh yeah, the prius does suck, even worse in real life. Ive had the displeasure in driving one on a number of occasions. Prepare to sacrifice your manhood

There's nothing manly about over compensating :sly:.

There's nothing manly about an electric car. I would rather drive the car that had a 5 foot flame shoot out of the exhaust when they built the first working model. How is it not manly, powerful cars are probably topping the list at some of the manliest things you could buy.

Indeed. Atop Mt. Smug, in the Temple of Self-Righteousness, sits a Toyota Prius. It's guarded by hipsters talking on iPhones, listening to music on iPods, and browsing the web on iPads. While eating granola bars. Enough said.

That's not stereotypical at all!

I personally like the Prius in GT. It is a nice car for a smooth and relaxing drive or race. Not everything has to be a high performance supercar you know!

You know what is really manly? Torque.

Guess what cars like the Tesla have? Torque. A lot of it. Instantly.

Something I noticed today was that it's very rapid at 0-20mph speeds pulling away from a standstill. I guess the combination of an auto box and the additional torque from the electric motors just gives it an edge over an average city car.

If aything, the Prius is nothing more than one of the many common cars in the game for me, the enviromental problem is out of focus even though the car has a capability of facing underlying problems in real life.
