Will that be optional for console players too do you know?
Dont think so. And why should you want to do that anyway, the game will be adequately optimized for the PS4, so no need to turn stuff off to improve performance.

I was talking about only the visuals on GT replays... we all know the sound o GT sucks(but on Ayrton Senna's cars it is better).
Thanks for the heads up. The direct downloads always look much better than the YouTube videos. If one is thinking about this game and likes what they see on YouTube, or doesn't for that matter, do a direct download from Gamersyde and the difference is stunning.
R8 sounds great climbing the tacho. Don't know what it is with PCAR's downshifting sounds though.. not realistic at all.
Comparison of Project CARS Vs Gran Turismo 6 (Gt6) at Brands Hatch circuit with the BMW M3 GT in rain.
Do you mean the cars hover in replay or when racing? After watching some videos on Gamersyde I have become quite underwelmed. The replays need a lot of work and it all seems very floaty. The cars seem to hover above the asphalt.
I can't judge the game of course from watching a couple of videos but it isn't really encouraging even with the enthusiasm of some here on GTP.
I will keep an eye out in here to see how the final version works out on PS4 before even considering a purchase somewhere in the future. Currently it hasn't pursuaded me to buy a PS4 though.
GT6 holds up really well in the graphics department but soundwise pCars is 10.000 miles ahead.
