Okay, going back on track (sorry for the belated response)...

The problem is, some people use knowledge for evil. However, I personally don't think it's right to just set aside anything as infinitely proven, or impossible, etc. etc... after all, isn't our curiosity and thirst for knowledge the leading reason for man's dramatic advances in the past thousand years or so?
What is the point of not advancing... what is the point of being sedentary, and content with what you know?
I think that the more we know, the better off we are, which is why science is so important to our liveliehoods (sp?)... and which is why I think that science's main goal should be to keep finding out new things, exploring new things, advancing our knowledge, increasing our technological barriers...
In the long run, science does better for the human population than it harms it.
