If it doesn't show, help me specify what might be wrong.

I think it's because you're using Flickr to host the images. I don't use Flickr to host but you're embedding it wrong for that kind of image.

P.S. There's still a way to view it. Right click on the little 'image missing' thing, either a little 'X' or a bunch of little polygons, and click on "View/open image in new tab". See if that works ;)

Have only recently started using the Photomode in GT, and this was my first time also using Photoshop to slightly tweak the image.

Goodness, Of the 15+ photos on this page, only one looked realistic...👎

You guys should look at more real photos... the exposure's too high, the contrast and saturation are too high, and miniature definitely is NOT realistic...

Instead of simply bitching on effort other people have made, maybe make your 'critisism' more constructive.

If you know so well how to make a picture made with GT Photomode look more realistic, you could give people some tips on how to improve their images.

Don't forget that there's people here that have not studied photography, or are a master at Photoshop (or whatever software people prefer to use).

I'm not saying you should give everyone a pat on the back and say you appreciate their effort, but atleast try and be constructive with your critisism.

What if they look like realistic miniature race cars, you know like it's a realistic looking picture of a 1:100 scale model of a race track with 1:100 scale race cars on it? For example.

I find his critisizm constructive, since this thread is, afterall, named the Realistic Racing Car thread

If you know so well how to make a picture made with GT Photomode look more realistic, you could give people some tips on how to improve their images.

If i remember, there's a few tutorials already out there helping that matter. For example: this one helps with giving a more realistic lighting effect.

Don't forget that there's people here that have not studied photography, or are a master at Photoshop (or whatever software people prefer to use).

That is true, but there are tutorials out there to help those who are willing to make an effort to learn it. (I, myself have zero experience with photography in real life and am, at best, and amateur when it comes to Photoshop.

Once again, it looks like constructive criticism pertaining to this thread to me since it's, once again, named the Realistic Racing Car Thread (which also means no RM'd cars).

Then again, it's how I define realistic... maybe not everyone defines it the same way I do..

Well, I disagree with you there.

I personally thing that a generalising statement like "the exposure's too high, the contrast and saturation are too high, and miniature definitely is NOT realistic" is not really contructive, when talking about more than 15 images.

I study graphic design, so I get critiqued constantly, but it's always one on one. A professor will never just address the class in general and say that the delivered work was crap. If he did, noone would know what they did wrong themselves, or where they could've improved.

My main point is, that I would've liked to see AOS- contribute to the thread in a more positive way, considering the fact that he probably knows a thing or two about image-editing. He wouldn't make a comment like that if he didn't, right?
I'm also sure that AOS- is probably a nice guy in real life, so let me make it clear that I have nothing against him personally :)

Maybe it's just me taking stuff to seriously, it's been a bit stressful at uni the last few weeks

Anyway, something more 'on-topic'...

Maybe a nice tip for people here that are just getting to grips with the GT5 photomode:
Try and use camera-positions/angles that could actually be used in real life.
With car commercials or adds, they sometimes use pretty extreme angles, by using a rig on the back of a pick-up or whatever.
With racing cars however, pictures are usually taken from the side of the track, since photographer are only allowed to stand at certain spots along the track.

That's just my personal opinion though, so feel free to just ignore it.
Especially since there's some pictures in the thread that would've been really hard to take in real life, but due to composition etc. still look pretty darn sexy.
