This is a semi-realistic series based on the real life Rolex Series. This is a CLEAN racing league, no intentional hits, bumps and dirty driving. We do all understand that mistakes happen, you push too hard or make a stupid pass attempt. Thats ok, just dont make it too intentional or a habit.
The series will be made up of two classes, the DP or Daytona Prototype class is made up of four lmp cars becuase there arent any daytona prototype cars in the game, and the GT class, this is made up of four street cars that have all gt auto aero upgrades and end up looking like their real life counterparts (for the most part).

Days and Time:
The two days of the week are Friday and Saturday. Friday starts at about 7pm est. Saturday starts at 6:20 pm est. Fridays there will be a practice session lasting about a hour to a hour and a half, so 7-8:30(ish). Saturdays are race day! See the time scheduale below to see how each day will work:
Friday: free practice, not mandatory, but STRONGLY encouraged!

6:20-6:30-gt qualifying
6:30-6:35- gt cars in pits, two dp drivers record gt qualifying order
6:35-6:45-dp qualifying
6:45-6:50-dp times recorded by two gt drivers, dp drivers must stay in pits
6:50-6:55-free time (bathroom break)
6:55-7:00- qualifying order written in chat box
7:00-7:05 race will start between these times.
Races will be about a hour and a half to two hours.
DP Class Cars and Regs:
These cars are the lmp cars that will take the place of the Daytona Prototype cars. Their standard weight is 970kg.

Starts:
These will be a little different than most leagues so read carefully. We will be doing a rolling start for both classes. The starts will be staggered (if you dont know what this means, ask me ill be glad to tell you). What will happen is that the DP cars will set off on their formation lap (75 mph) around the track with the GT cars staying stationary on the grid. Once the DP cars have all cleared the first turn, the GT cars will set off on their formation lap (also 75 mph). Rules for both classes on formation lap below:
DO NOT HIT ANYONE!!!- its a formation lap, no passing!
GO SINGLE FILE! only go double file on the front straight (special exeption at Daytona)
Once the race leader crosses the finish line, the race has started!
North American Endurance Championship:
Just like the real life series, we are doing the north american endurance championship. The three races that make up this championship will be:
Daytona Road Course: 75 laps
Indianapolis Road Course: 65 laps
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca: 75 laps
These tracks were chosen because they were in the championship in real life, with the exeption of watkins glen
. These will be longer "endurance" races, like in real life. There will be a sperate points championship. These races will count to the normal chamionship, in addition to the naec.If you know you will miss a weekend, or a quialifying session, but can make the race LET US KNOW! That way we arent waiting for anyone, and we can get a good guess at how many people will be there.
