Man I am slow here.
What times are you DP guys doing at the moment and what pit strategy will y'all be employing?
Im having a hard time keeping the tires.
 
If someone would open the room and do qualifying polar will be there for the race I will not be making this preseason test because I am going to the races
 
Guys, I will not be able to make 6:20, I've asked james to open, and run the room. If he doesnt get the message and you would like to run the room here is the time table:

6:20-6:30 est-Free practice, join lobby

6:30-6:40-GT Qualifying

6:40-6:50-DP Qualifying

6:50-7:05 warm up

7:05-Race Start!

Race is 30 laps, 1 formation

I'm getting on now, apparently no one wanted to open a room so depending how many people show up will be the deciding factor

Lol! Sorry I just got disconnected..... Let's forget this happened and focus on next weeks first regular season race!


And my reasoning for being late: my lacrosse game went to triple overtime... We won, but it took a hour extra! So that threw everyone for a loop!


And pepsi max crew- I think your a hour off, you are always a hour late! These times are eastern USA time, I think your conversions are off

6.20pm EST then converts into 7.20am the next day isn't it?
Also why were some cars running mediums?

And I think when we pushed the clocks ahead a hour it messed you up

LOL, it cost poor Stormpacer the race. He thought his fronts would wear faster, but, in my favour, his soft rears were burned out. He was reluctant to pit, 'cuz NO ONE else had pitted. BUT, I had different plans and ran with mediums to start, before hards @ lap 10. Then, Storm pacer started to catch up (from a 1 minute lead) and forced me to pit. I came out 0.5 seconds ahead, and barely held the lead 'til his softs had worn. In the end, he had to pit a third time, and I LIMPED the car home, across the line with no fuel or tires left. I somehow converted the Audi to run on fumes.

Anthony finiished third because of a weird glitch that refused to let him pit. Polarbear was either in second or third when he disconnected. I realllllyyyyy feel sorry...

Ah don't worry, I think next week we should be able to get a few DP drivers and we can FINALLY get a proper weekend! And I take you want to join this full time?

Well, I need to talk about it; I am not going to let Nitro down (I DID "sign up" to be his back-up driver, but, I'm not sure how that would work. Could I get points for both of us for races he can't make? Or...... I don't know how I would manage it full time....(not running some races for him and some for me)

Whatever you want you guys can just do all of them and when your his back up then well go as if your his back up and when your not then your not
 
LOL, nearly forgot about that, actually. To be honest, the way I drove in that race it hardly mattered much.

Edit ~ I need to do something about my pit strategies. My car's good enough to compete, and if I can weed out the mistakes, I just need to then have a proper think about what to do during the race.

That's why I like avoiding the starts. Actually, at the beginning, a certain so-and-so brake-checked me. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

Storm, no, you don't need to think your strategy through. Stay FLEXIBLE.

I was going 90 approaching the line, I was breaching race procedures so I had to slow down. Sorry. And yeah I do in a way, I don't mind being flexible, but the basic idea needs working on. My initial tyre set-up is what screwed me, since I was going by the wear from the last race, not really taking note of how it was looking around Daytona.
