So, Bobby was driving a Vette? They're so fast, but, no one wants them. And, I like the Ferrari, but, I just find the 1:46.998 too slow, considering the RS tires and qualifying braking points. I'd have to pit every 10 laps in order to run such fast lap times in order to run such fast lap times in a race. It's hard to say so far, but, I'll test the R8 now, to see if it's better. I'd still run the Italia as Nitro's supplementary driver... I've just heard rumours that someone might switch to the Vette, and that the R8 will have a spot open after everyone switches. Pre-season testing shall continue.

Yep...I think. The corvette will get a official hp cut In about a hour, or when f1 practice is over I'm also going to put the aero kits for the cars

Were you guys running without aero for those lap times?💡 I saw the photos and copied the aero from there... Mistake??

OK, there's something WRONG with Ferrari. First lap in Audi was 1:47.4xx. It's already faster... Ferrari? WHY U NO B FAST, slow duckling...?

Aero for gt cars:

Corvette- front a, rear a, wing b

Audi r8- wing a

Viper- front a, extension a, wing a

Ferrari 458- front a, extension a, wing b

My observations imply that any downforce less than 40 have no effect on cornering speed, but, reduce straight line ACCELERATION. I'll do more testing to find solid proof, but, the cars with high aero and less power both seem sluggish. I think it could be fixed with even as little as 5-10 HP difference. The reason the Vette's fast is the pure acceleration. Once the rear tires hooked up, the car accelerated faster than all of the others-even the Audi @ 50/50 torque split. Just my findings.

I admit, I can't run qualification times like you guys, and my Vette lap was 1:45.8xx, BUT I still noticed the same drastic difference in lap times that james and others have as well.

So, we could make the other cars faster, or the Vette slower. I just have a pretty good idea of what will happen. I think it'll almost always be a Corvette walkout in qualification, and that the other cars will only pick up any slack left by the more powerful cars.

I'll reiterate what's already been said in plain english. STV, have you tried looking at the first page of this thread? Strictly a rhetorical question, since the answer is a clear no.

Look at the following:
~ The first page of the thread, yes page 1, and look at what cars are being used in this series. You'll find, funnily enough, that neither of the cars you chose are on the list. Polar has said that you have a free choice of the DP class teams.

~ The regulations on that particular car you've chosen. By this I mean the BHP and WEIGHT. Tune the car to those regulations.
