Yes yes yes! What he said!

And I took off about 2 seconds off of the cars, so they'll be about 1 second slower after tunes. They're about 1 second faster than real life... If I made them any more real, we'd see cars at 400hp... Maybe some at 300's... And dp, same thing those are about 2-3 faster than real life, but both classes cars drive very well!

the group c cars look more like the real DP and are more fun to drive. As for GT I would love to drive any of the cars on the list. We hit a homerun on the car selections in both classes.

Yep! The GT actually looks like a real Rolex grid! And the group c cars handle like a dream! And don't get too much wheel spin, but just enough to keep you on your toes!

The only difference I see, between the two series, now, is race length.


But, speaking of making cars look like their real-life counterparts, let's make everyone choose a real-life car, that they have to make their GT car look like. So, someone could pick a Stevenson Camaro, and paint if blue, but with yellow rims... Or a matt black (available on the Lexus LF-A) RX-8 like James wants, with gloss black rims, for the #70 Speedsource Mazda.


Or a red/yellow Dempsey Racing Mazda.


I'm running the red/grey Camaro that the Autohaus guys are running.

If only we had a livery shop in gt5.... But yes I do think we should name the group c cars like for instance Sauber Coyote, Nissan Dallara, and Toyota Riley.

That's the EASY bit. We need to get the GT cars painted to look like real Rolex cars; but, has anyone seen the Viper? :lol:

I think it was white, yellow and red...

A.k.a not possible in gt5.... Downer!

But we could definitely do something with that! I may have to retake some pictures, but that's easy!
 
Naw. We'll get the drivers of the cars to show us their finalized rides, once the paints are sorted; and we could even make it into a guessing game.


Someone could, for example, take the Audi, and paint it up, and let everyone guess which real series team it represents. :)

Ugh, you guys don't stop! Lol! I don't think well do the draft, it's a first come first serve thing. All the half devoted guys are gone really, and I dont have a problem with new guys joining. Hopefully thy won't decide showing up is optional... It isn't without a excuse!

That's the viper alright! I forgot how tacked on that body cover looked... Ehh.

But do remember it is optional, but maybe we could add custom team names, like "Otter Ferrari" or "Super Grazer Dodge"

I might still use MAFIA Motorsports as my team name, but the Sauber is not black and blue. I will have to ponder my name. If I get a teammate then we will decide on the name.

The prototypes are limited to a certain color depending on the car. It really limits the team name possibilities. For instance, you could paint a car brown and have dookie racing or something more explicit than that. It is what it is. I personally like the goofy names.
