Good practice session tonight gents. Just a shame that Cobrius had some connection issues and got DC'd in the first short race and couldnt rejoin. That left 6 of us for short race practice, and the times are as follows. ( I only saved 4 replays, and these were the best times for each driver.)

Medium Tyre.
HELLRAZOR...1:42.936
JAMESY...1:43.231
GOODWOLF..1:44.485
ADE3210...1:45.316
OMNIU...1:45.890
SOCAL...1:46.959

Hard Tyre.
JAMESY...1:46.604
ADE3210...1:48.367
SOCAL...1:48.548
GOODWOLF...1:49.848
OMNIUS...1:51.536

That makes HELLRAZOR Dan the pace setter for tomorrows race. But the race could turn out to be a different story. Hopefully JIMFTR will be back, along with HASSLEMOFF and JOYLORD. The grid will be busy tomorrow, and current championship leader COBANI will have his work cut out. Cant wait for the race!!!!!

Great fair racing meant for the first laps to be really exciting. Again the different strategies kept the race interesting all the way to the final laps.
Coming off the high of Tokyo, tonight's race will be more about damage limitation, can't wait!

Fantastic pictures and race report Cobani. Reading it on the day of race 4 has got me looking forward to tonights race even more.

On the subject of tonights race, I will open the room at 7.45pm BST as we are expecting high numbers as we have some new racers and reserves. I am sure all the new guys have read the OP, but as a recap, High RPM Turbo, 236 BHP with one upgrade, No tuning of the LSD, Sports medium and hard tyres. Minimum of 6 laps on the hard.
Clean racing conduct, and 2 wheels on the track (no corner cutting or going wide).

If the reserve drivers could wait for me to message them on PSN before entering the room please. I will message you at approx 8.15pm if there are spaces free.

Race you all tonight.

From chatting with Ade about this.. ( I brought it up ) I think if you run wide there once or twice it isn't a problem.. But do it every lap and that is.. :)

Yeah! I'm watching WEC on T.V. at the moment, and if you keep cutting corners, you'll end up at the Race Directors office! 30 second stop/go penalties mind :sly:

Goodluck today(tonight where you are at) racers! Hoping to see some of the action myself, if not...hopefully I'll see you all in Trial Mountain next week!

I always come good on race day at Fuji! Same happened in SC1 :)

Loved the race until I had to go onto Hards, but having said that the race was made up for me with the multi-lap battles with SOCAL!!! 👍 'Kin Awesome racing!!!! :) :) :)

Shame about the DC on lap 13 SOCAL :(

I think I'll video that battle out of the replay to keep

Belter Race tonight ADE, just what I needed after an afternoon of FIA WEC 👍

Wicked race.. Was sweating by the end of it!! Feels good to win at last :) Once I got onto the med tyre I got settled into a good rhythm and was lapping mostly 43.5-7xx which made it possible to start catching Cobani. Thanks for the good racing guys  👍

Great race, everyone. Too bad I was chewed up and spit back out to 11th ahahha. Still had alot of fun though. I'm sure I'll be doing better at Trial Mountain next week. Great racing.

Massive thanks to everyone for tonights race. Record number on the grid with 14 starters. Welcome to newcomer BIG_C_23, I hope you enjoyed your first race with us. Great to see the tyre strategys being put into play again, (apart from mine, after coming out with hard tyres only on the rear ). It was a shame that Socal and Happy suffered disconnections, however both will still recieve some points. Final results will be published tomorrow, in the mean time well done to the podium, champagne time.

I enjoyed my first race immensely Ade, thanks for the opportunity. Can not wait untill next weeks race, going to start throwing down some lap times soon.

First of all I have to correct myself. Last night I thought Cobani was the winner but it seems to be Dan who was the winner, congrats Dan!

Before the race I knew that my lap times were poor and I hadn’t got time to figure out some of the turns but race day is race day and anything can happen. I really like the tyre regulation! It puts in another dimension to the race and a possibility to catch up with faster drivers.

My strategy for Fuji was to start with hard, go with them for 8 laps and then – if I was lucky – catch up with those who suffered with torn tyres.

Took it easy the first laps, had some battle with Trotter before he DC (?), later on the fast guys where coming from behind and I tried to make place without slowing down too much.

So according to the plan I went into the pit to change to medium only to switch to hard – I curse my fast, thick thumb! :banghead: Ok, out on the track for one lap, back in the pit to change to fast and grippy medium and again my fast thumb gave wrong order to the crew… this time I went out on track with hard in the front and medium in the back… :banghead: :banghead: This time I took a big bite of the faeces sandwich and headed for the finishing line.

I did catch up with Big C – welcome to the cup! :) – passed him and the next in front of me was Ade but I think he was way ahead of me.

Thanks Ade for the setting up the event! :) 👍 And thanks to all you other racing fellows! :)👍

............ but it seems to be Dan who was the winner...............

By this, I am assuming that you couldnt see Dan. Goodwolf had the same problem with Socal during Saturday's practice. This problem went away for the race because Goodwolf added Socal to his PSN list. This may be what we have to do. Make sure that all racers are added to everyone's PSN.

.............gave wrong order to the crew… this time I went out on track with hard in the front and medium in the back…........

Me to. I pitted on lap 17 and went out with hards on the rear and mediums on the front. Although its frustrating it does add an extra dimension to the race. In real life drivers often have bad pit stops.

This time I took a big bite of the faeces sandwich..........

:yuck::yuck::yuck:

Bah, i missed another race. :(

Well done guys.

You missed a blinder mate. 14 on the grid, different tyre strategy's, pit stop disasters. Hopefully Trial Mountain will be just as action packed.👍

Hey ade, have you seen the car Kaz has been racing in :sly: looks familiar! He won too!!

Yeah, maybe we may see the ISF in future SC series. Is that my dog on the right?

Fuji GT Battle - 720p

Reinvigorated from the new CORE GT Season, with the reintroduction of photo race highlights, I took the opportunity to spread this to the Sunday Cup 2....

Thanks for a good race SOCAL!, shame about your DC. For what the pictures don't tell, checkout the 8 minute / 4 lap HD video above.

As always, hats off to you ade for the organising 👍
