No probs Turbo, though i'd still like to stick with my RM spec Impreza :)

EDIT: By the way, I hope your kicking a$$ over in England Turbo!!

Hmm... Back to the drawing board... Renzo's got the Impreza, Turbo the Lancer, and I'm not liking the BMW... I have to figure something out. Good thing Turbo's in England for another fortnight or so...

Is there anyone free for some practice at the moment? I want to see how my new Delta holds up to the competition :s

Just watched the 2010 Targa Newfoundland for some inspiration, and I learned a few things.

Firstly, you mentioned that these are average time rallies when in fact only the street legal GT classes are average time. In the modified classes you are only penalized for falling short of your target time. I also noticed that the 'lower' classes get a handicap to help them compete for the overall win. I know its last minute, but it would certainly be cool if that could be incorporated into this series...

With that said, there's been a certain Lotus Exige that has run well in both the Tasman and Newfoundland Targas, so I'm running tests on a Lotus 111R, a GT-R, and an IS-F to figure out which one I'm gonna enter (and in which class).

I believe the real Targa's run on average speed or something. This series isn't meant to be a 100% accurate representation, just loosely based off of them.

I wasn't expecting 100% accuracy, just putting some ideas out there. The handicap thing I found partucularly interesting, since it gave people in the lower PP/classic groups a better shot at overall victory.

Closing this one down folks, as I don't have the desire to run more than one online series. (or any for that matter) Everyone seems to be interested when they are first created, then interest quickly falls off and I just don't want to deal with it anymore. So this will be the first one to go, and the FMSC might follow shortly...
