Anyway, a few weeks ago I started thinking really hard about what I wanted to do for Logan for Christmas. I just couldn't think of anything to send, and I couldn't think of anything to give as a gift. So I ended up going to Valter with an idea. A fairly simple idea, involving a couple relatively simple Ponysonas. I wanted it to be something fairly personal since this is mine and Logan's first Christmas as a couple.

After explaining what I wanted, Valter turned out this:

My sis and I had a very pony Christmas ;) This is really the first time the two of us have ever gone all-out for each other this time of year and did something as personal as this. I guess that's just another reason why this show is awesome.

I hope you all had a great one too!
 
Well after just hanging around and doing nothing here (and apparently stealing someone's pony :lol:), I finally decided to actually Watch...the...show. Obviously I'm at least three seasons behind but so far, I actually like it. Once I got used to the colors, I found it enjoyable. Take that for what you will, but I thiught I'd share that with you good friends.
 
Forgot to mention the episode 11 synopsis, because...

The idea first reminded me of Project Saturation, which was a canned animation project from last year (Link). Then eX told me it had similarities with a fic called Broken Spirit (Link). I'd put money on the episode idea being written up about 12 months before both of those though, but these days there's a greater chance of actual episode plots sharing similarities with fanmade stories and ideas.

I can see the episode combining stuff from both fan-made works, but I wonder how this "test" to reform him will play out, or if they can avoid messing up what is the most popular villain in the show.

Also, I have no idea if me and eX are still the only people here who've watched the last episode.
 
This is a chat I think we should use for a little while. TinyChat has been really, really error heavy lately and it's getting a point where the ability to stream is heavily outweighed by the sheer amount of crap we have to put up with just to stay in the room.

Besides, we always opened up Synchtube when we were watching new episodes, or I guess anything on YT now, anyway. If anyone knows anything similar to TinyChat that isn't less reliable than an Alfa then please let us know.


Anyway, I still haven't watched the episode. If anyone could give me the size of the 1080p or 720p download in the smallest size they can find I would appreciate it.
 
Chatzy sucks, but it's stable at least. I still can't join TC, but I hope it's fixed to some extent soon.

I easily prefer this unused ending to the one we did get. Not so much for Lightning Dust getting off more lightly, but because we actually get to find out what position Dash is in at the end of the episode.

The 720p version on YT is somewhere in the region of 250-260MB, IIRC. ;)

More than half have been uploaded this morning. I miss these large sketch dumps JJ does, so I hope he does more in 2013 than he has this year.
 
There were four pictures posted from Josecoverload that I loved and was going to quote in this post, but that would've stretched the page. I'll just let people guess instead. :P

& that's in MP4 format. 1080P version comes in around 450MB area but the 720P looks identical so the 1080P is wasted space.

Unless you have a 1080p monitor and really good eyesight.

But it's just not worth it with a download cap.
