It's very different; an oddly dark and grungy take on a really rather upbeat tune - but it works incredibly well. This is not your average Super Ponybeat fare, and most certainly not average eurobeat.

That said, it really is an awesome remix!

Oh, and there are that many Bronies out there that can identify with Luna more than any other character? I get that whenever she appears, even for a few seconds, many fans get excited about it. But for her to end up in those positions on some of the census polls makes it looks as though there were a few less-than-serious submissions. Celly so far down on the same polls too, which isn't really befitting of the Best princess now is it?

It's interesting for a completely new MLP toy to have a backstory like the one Shimmer appears to have, plus immediately getting placed in the same toy pack as the main characters (except Twilight). But eh, I still wouldn't mind seeing her getting more than just a merch role in the franchise.

Can't really hurt things at this point, even if it is just a way to replace Twilight without actually replacing Twilight.




And the EqG image of her is actually pretty nicely drawn and appealing, so I'm doubtful it's really official.
