Linky.

He was up real late working on that Last of Us picture too. I went to bed at 4 and he was only just starting to color it. Though I suppose he had to do something to pass the time during the 24 Hours of Caution Flags.

This dude was basically manufacturing plastic pony toys, and people in the EqD comments are legitimately surprised that it got axed.

Yeah. Its one thing to just Make something and show it off, its another to sell it and make money. Kinda hard not to expect a copyright infringement when your making money off of copyrighted characthers.

Off-Topic: How the hell the does this 3D Printing work?

:3

Also 3D Printing works but having a vat full of plastic powder. A gun travels across it and sprays an adhesive glue that gets built up layer by layer. At the top end it's the most accurate means of manufacturing yet.

So the show is getting into 4 seasons now. What to do if you're looking to get into it and want to be brought up to speed quickly?

(Language Warning)

Then just... watch this:

And skip the rest of Season 3 I guess.

It's the fact that Shapeways themselves were raking in money from each sale in the first place. Not so much the amount the printer was charging. Hashbro estimated a fair price and only wanted to share his prints in bulk, and Shapeways happened to be the best way to do it. He can still create 3D models and print those since Hasbro didn't actually say he could stop doing so, and he said he might even give his models away for free soon depending on what happens. But not to sell their intellectual property though a site that actually profits from it.

It appears that Vidalcris' store was also shut down because of this, but he simply moved to another site that deals with 3D prints. How long he can keep selling them, along with other artists like Calistotash (3D Chrysalis), we'll just have to wait and see.
