Hasn't been much news on PonyKart this year, but now it's official being discontinued.

No 'cease and desist' orders were issued, thankfully. Just prioritising on the teams part, workload being too demanding to continue and others simply losing interest in the show. So there's always the chance that someone with more time, resources or generally interested in making fan content will take over.
