Hooray, extremely late episode recaps.
S04E22: The Ponies Do the Thing and Trade the Goods:
Best pony finally getting the attention she deserves in-canon? Hell yes, I'll take it.
Guh, Rainbow Dash is adorable when she's nerding out about stuff. Especially when she's about to have a book set that would make Twi jealous.
And calling it as soon as she starts talking about trading for it, this is gonna end up being another one of those times where a character starts with something small and trades up oece by piece.
Dat RariJack snuggle, tho
Aaaaaand then Twi had so many books she literally could not contain them all.
Is...is that pony Kahl Drogo?
I would totally buy a Discord lamp.
And the fact everyone who says you can buy "anything" at the trade says it with a seductive face has me slightly worried.
And then Pinkie implied a violent threat toward a child.
And then Pinkie was a hardcore con-artist...and extremely mean and insensitive to her friend's problems.
And then Flutters ended up sacrificing for a friend in a realistic and organic way and gained more ofmy respect.
Pinkie needs to hut her Pie hole. This episode is definitely knocking her down on my list.
And the conflict resolution in this show has always been good, but this episode seems to be extremely well done in regards to wrapping things up.
S04E23:
Rarity teasing SSpike, yet again.
And then the obses dude made Rarity cry, and I sorta wanna kick him in his obnoxious-accent-making face for it.
"Rarity, I know you think that Ice Cream is future Rarity's problem, but trust me, I learned my lesson about that the hard way." - Spike
Good Guy Spike; not taking advantage of an emotionally vulnerable Rarity.
Also, more Spike character building might be nice.
Holy hell, she's really putting away that ice cream.
Alright, Rarity with messy hair looks extremely cuddleable.
And then things starting glowing green, which as we all know never ends poorly.
I feel like a puppet master who uses telekenisis isn't terrible impressive.
And then Rarity was drunk with power, and also turned her boutique into a pretty epic "Partty Hard" gif."
"Everypony was kungfu fight-ing..." - Raomnpw Dash
And then Rarity materialized an Octavia, which I'd imagine made Lyn somewhat happy.
And then Spike was going to learn that sometimes to pretect your friends you have to break promisses.
I don't see how swallowing the evil spellbook could possibly backfire...
Twi's had a busy day because of Spike's screwup, and all he does is make some smartass remark? What an ass.
On that note, Twi looks like she's in serious need of some post-bad-day cuddling.
And her hitting the bed that hard made me realize I should really do the same, so I'mma end up watching the last 3 tomorrow and doing the same thing I did for those two, but I'll leave the last two episodes spoilered.
