Seen some merch in older posts so here is my Funko vinyl figure i bought and got put on back order for 3 months :indiff:...but it is finally here! :D

They are much bigger than i thought they would be, this will probably be the only one i buy.
 
I've watched the S6 premier a couple of times now.
I like that it was mostly a Starlight/Spike episode. Those two work well together. The new baby was not as annoying as I thought it would be. Although the way it grabbed Pinkie by the eyeballs was pretty weird. The conflict between Starlight and Sunburst was believable and resolved itself quite well. Looking at some of the comments around the internet, there are people who say it's jumped the shark, but I don't think so, not at all. It's just the usual negativity of people who want the show to fail so they can say they were into it back when it was cool.

Starlight / Sunburst seems to have a "close bond" for a friendship. Why doesnt just straight up called a relationship. Those Royal Prince and Princess called one.

Come on :) Is it because Y7 show dont talk about that. ?
 
I kinda liked it not the best ever but still.

I liked the Dr. Who reference (i think it was anyways) Starlight said at the beginning.

There ain't no rest for the wizardly...bits don't grow on trees. :sly:

I could easily see a Starlight/Sunburst (Starburst?) relationship happening (and I'm sure there's going to be plenty of it over at Derpibooru) but in show terms, give it time. They've only started the season. It would be nice to see them become a couple as the season progresses. His knowledge of magic and her raw magical ability would be pretty impressive.

Fave pony: Rainbow Dash.
Fave Princess: Luna, obviously.
Fave villain: Discord, let the chaos reign!
Fave episode to date: Has to be "Twilights Kingdom part 2", that DBZ style fight was just epic.
Fave EQ movie: Rainbow Rocks..... What? I liked the music, lol

I would say that is me sufficiently caught up.......

Oh yes, pulled out my sketch book just recently after a very long 5 year+ hiatus. So I might as well share these here, I did use reference pics for them.

I used to draw things that where more realistic, my old art portfolio from school is at my mums somewhere. But I have a few things I did since leaving school on my photobucket, plus a few others on paper.

I have a bad habit of starting something though, and then leaving it. a lot of the things I draw usually end up not getting finished. Still, I have all the files with the layers intact; so there are a few I could finish up.

Nice :) Most seems to be complete though despite being sketches. Thats alot of arts :D
 
Alright, I'm finally deciding to catch up with FIM. I'm watching the last episodes of season 5 that I missed on Netflix. I watched the finale a while back, but there were a lot of episodes I missed before that. I'm at Episode 19 and wow; I finally know why Diamond Tiara is such a brat. I should have guess; 🤬 parent(s).

EDIT: Okay, the CMC got their cutie marks, they look like badges.

and I didn't think there could be another Pony as timid as Fluttershy.

Season 5 isn't a season you wanted to fall behind on. They really pulled out all the stops in that season.

The Gift of the Maud Pie. In case you don't get the pun in the title, it's based on "The Gift of the Maji" by O. Henry, written in 1905. If you don't know it, it's about
a poor married couple who only have two things of worth: the wife's long hair, and the husband's pocket watch, a family heirloom. The wife cuts off and sells her hair so she can buy a watch-fob for her husband, unaware that he has sold his watch so he can buy her new combs and brushes for her hair. They are now both left with gifts they can't use, but also realize just how far the other is willing to go to show their love for the other.

As for the episode,
I loved it. All three characters were killing it. The way Rarity kept working to help Pinkie Pie showed she really is the spirit of generosity. And the way she and Maud bamboozled that pony into giving back the party cannon was brilliant.
 
Can't say it was my favorite episodes but it had its moments.

I noticed the twilight cane go by when Rarity was throwing things.

I actually don't watch Dr.who all that much but yet I saw one of the Dr.Whooves walking in the background, 5th one if I remember correctly.
