Well, all episodes of Season 8 are on netflix. So now, I'm bingewatching to play catch-up.

So, how does Discord label himself as a realist when the guy can bend reality as he wishes? That's like a spirit saying he doesn't believe in ghosts.

I completely missed this, but three "Best Gift Ever" shorts showed up on the Hasbro Youtube channel on Christmas Eve.

Equestria Girls S2E02 is up on YouTube. "DIY w/ Applejack" continues the YouTube parody videos theme as AJ does a makeover of Rarity's dressing room.
 
Equestria Girls S2E3 is up, called either "The Art of Cookies" if you go by the title on YouTube, or "The Craft of Cookies" if you go by the title in the episode itself. Continuing the YouTube parody theme, Pinkie Pie, with a little help from Tank, shows us how to make the perfect cookie.
 
Harbro dropped a surprise MLP short on us today. Rarity is trying to figure out the secret to Celestia and Luna's flowing hair.

The rumors were true. Season 9 is the last season of Friendship is Magic.


It's not completely over. There is one more movie scheduled for 2021.


And there's no word on the Equestria Girls.
 
While it's sad to see G4 is ending it's also exciting for me to see G5. As much as I like G4 new characters and story will be refreshing.

Agreed. I think FiM is ending at the right time, before it gets stale. New characters and stories will be fun. But I’ll always love G4 for making me fall in love with little pastel ponies in the first place.
