I've just found that image myself in the past hour or so. The first word that came to mind when I saw it was 'Pixie', so I guess the Trixie/Pinkie Pie pairing works well in that respect.

Agreed,it sort of works(in a twisted kind of way),and now that I think about it,a good fanfic can came up from that.

Anyway, instead of working on that trial for the PMV, I watched Sling Blade for the first time. Loved it.

Anyway, I'll start on that PMV sample now using a random 30sec-1min segment from Free Bird just to see what I can pull together. I'll decide on a final song after I see what I can do with that sample, though.
EDIT:
Nevermind, finding clips in MLP to fit a slow song is a lot more difficult than I though. I'll try something else with a fast pace.
Well slow in the begning, the end would be no problem, but I'm tired as hell right now so I might try it tomorrow if I have time.

Why do I always get the chorus?

As a warning, 8.5 is GrimDark as 🤬. Cupcakes-level stuff, depending on your imagination.

Well, I have a pretty vivid imagination, so I can definitely say without a doubt that it was GrimDark as 🤬, on a similar level to 'Cupcakes':

The first thing that got me was in part 7 concerning Fluttershy and the appalling physical state she was in. Hearing that she was hooked up to what seemed to be a Dialysis machine, as well as having metal rods inside her to support her body and the fact that she might never walk or fly again made for tough reading. Hearing that any of the characters were in that state obviously wouldn't be very nice, but Fluttershy? That saddened me alot more than I expected to be honest.

As for part 8 (well 8.5 mostly), that was really quite graphic. I'd say that the dream sequence in part 8 wasn't as bad as 'Cupcakes', but part 8.5 was definitely on par with that fanfic.

I can also relate to one part in Celestia's dream, as one of the things that happened to her happened to me in a dream I had several years ago, which as you can imagine, wasn't very nice.

I believe I said this before and I'll say it again, this is a very well written story even though it's GrimDark as hell. When the next part is uploaded, I won't wait long to read it, trust me. I would go and read The Vinyl Scratch Tapes now, but it's getting late so I might give it a look tomorrow.

When I 1st saw a pony avatar about 2 months ago I was like WTH is that and after some quick research (aka Google) and I found out about the series! At first I thought it would be a trend for about a week and since then its kinda gotten much more popular..! But anyway heres the thing yea I congratulate all you guys 'N' gals for making the series this popular and I must say you really suprised me (Which takes alot) with the amount of popularity that this whole thing has gained!

Also I still have literally no clue what goes on in the series I never saw an episode or anything!

I have no sympathy for what happened to Snowflake. Even the whole "held in mid-air helpless for 10 minutes pleading and screaming as Celestia summoned the sun to publicly vaporize his ass" bit loses its impact every time the story cuts back to Fluttershy in the hospital. And I'm getting the distinct impression that Rainbow Dash feels the same way.

Which I suppose is terribly ironic, given my typical responses to the story so far. Which was almost certainly the point of having it happen to her in the first place.

And now I'm going to torpedo my own poorly-executed joke from the other day by going to bed early knowing full well that a new Dangerous Business chapter just went up (how the hell does Jetfire keep updating so fast?). Plus I got to read the latest chapter of the Twixie story I'm following, plus Avery Strange (that terrible, cruel human being who wrote Spark) has a TrixieShy (which is only slightly less weird than Trixie Pie) story up that I really want to read as well.
But oh well. I'm tired. I didn't sleep well last night. And my leg is starting to hurt. I'm almost certain I'm going to wake up tomorrow and be faced with some stupid situation that will remind me that I should have read Dangerous Business tonight (Just watch. TNTNE will be updated right after I go to bed, and I'll be forced to choose which one to read as soon as I get up. 'Tis the way my luck usually pans out).

Right, now about that PMV, I just made the call and went with Paradise City. Granted it will be strange that the song refers to the ponies as "pretty girls", but there's plenty of clips of them showing off and enough green grass to fit the whole song.
I've only got the first 15 seconds done on the song in 1-1/2 hours, but most of that time was spent learning the tools in Sony Vegas.

Although Snowflake was dispatched in one of the most brutal ways imaginable, knowing that both RD and Fluttershy were heavily beaten by him and the group of pegasus ponies kind of reduces the impact that his execution had on me. My sympathy for what happened to him is virtually non-existent now.

Funny how I happened across here by an accidental link to my own fanfic, (I acknowledge it's lack of general...quality.) And then find the most picture-populated forum in history.

My attempts at brony conversion ended in ponies getting banned altogether from a forum. Bar one thread, but that one thread parties hard.

Interestingly searching for "hello bronies" spams me with brownies. Google is so competent.

Yeah, fanfic discussion has boomed in this thread in the past couple of months. If you told me at the beginning of May that I'd be reading fan-made stories based on MLP, I probably would have laughed, but I've read quite a few now and I must say that many of them are really well written.
