If nothing else (and I think that they are awesome even if they are just clips from the show with a Hub logo at the end), the new commercials show just how awesome the show will look on Blu Ray. Blows the 720p set out of the water, even ignoring the fact that the colors are correct in the commercials.
So, let's check ED to see how deep the hole I've dug myself into is now:

Which still means I got three stories to read, including two Dangerous Business chapters. Dumb laziness. I can only be thankful that there wasn't a Drawfriends last night.
And besides, time spent redeeming Gilda is simply time wasted by not being about Trixie.

I've read several Gilda sadfics and I still don't like her in the slightest (probably due to "Fluttershy is my waifu" syndrome), so meh. Don't get me wrong: An apology would be acceptable, but she was such a massive bitch that I doubt one would be forthcoming without extensive rewriting of her character.

EDIT: Damn, he left as I posted this.
She still deserves a swift kick to the head for what she did to Fluttershy, but after that I'd gladly accept her apology.

I just don't like Gilda at all, pure and simple, but if she did apologise and if she actually showed remorse for what she did, then I would probably accept her apology. It still wouldn't change the way I feel about her though.
I read Five's Company last night. I won't spoil anything, but deciding to read it after part 14 of TNTNE would be a good idea because it's funny as hell. I should have done the same thing to be honest, then again, I still haven't read the latest part of he Vinyl Scratch Tapes, so at least I have something more uplifting to read after TNTNE.

But she would still need to apologize first; and if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, wed all have a merry Christmas. Even Heart of Gold, Feathers of Steel couldn't find a plausible reason to have Gilda apologize for her actions, and that tried (far too hard in places) to explain everything she did in the episode.
I mean, I don't actively hate her anymore (and I admit that is purely for fanon reasons, Junior Speedsters Forever in particular, so I probably should still hate her), but that's not exactly the stuff redemption is made out of.
I kinda want to boot up Sim City 4 again so I can do stuff like this (among other reasons):
Spike Boulevard would definitely be the "rape street" of my city.
I also want to boot up GTA IV to see if that is actually named that in the game.

Cupcakes,to be more precise,one part of the fanfic,which applied an interesting moment to the story,now,allow me to elaborate(if you are not interested don't read this,I feel like beating a dead horse,and this was discussed here at length,so,if you aren't really interested,don't bother):

However that is what pretty much everyone what everyone thinks and I didn't use this space to point that out,what I want to point out is a section,this might sound a bit stupid,but there is a section in cupcakes that really got me thinking,and seriously struck me in the second reading run(Of the revised version),this is the segment that I'm talking about:

You might wondering what kind of relevance has over the stupidity that cupcakes represents,well,from about 20 to 30 fanfics that I have read thus far,I haven't seen a single one that addresses accurately the ageing and mental response of a pony so accurately,how so,the age of an average pony can be rounded to 17 to 21,and some fanfics uses a 21+ age for its characters,but cupcakes does point out a probable response from someone that can be from a 17-19 years old.
That segment didn't really affect me,not at first,but in the second run it really got me thinking,and actually it struck me so hard that I stop reading and made me stare at the roof ceiling of my apartment,just thinking about the whole concept and its impact when you realized of the object use for its realization.
With that said,I think that I should write this instead of keeping it to myself,maybe it will serve as feedback for writers who bothers with to reading this,or maybe I could be wrong about it and has no relevance on the story whatsoever,but is something that I wanted to share with anyone who could be interested in Cupcakes in a more critical/analytic background.

I was largely unaffected by cupcakes, it being the first fanfic I read. I simply can't be bothered to look back through it again. So many other good fanfics I could be loking up.

Oh, oh cool. In all honesty, it falls pretty flat imo. It simply exists to bridge the gap for the suequel, which the barebones planning doc alone spans three pages. Hopefully it'll pay off.

Writer's block aaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh.
So I rewatched Party of One this morning (because when you wake up at 6AM because you went to bed early there isn't a whole lot else to do when there is nothing on HBO and the B-Spec enduro you started won't be over for a few more hours. I alternated between Ponies and episodes of Archer for 4 hours, and it was awesome).
You know, Party of One is a pretty damn awesome episode. Its no A Dog and Pony Show, but I think it could be a Top 3 episode. I had always found it funny for the obvious meta reasons, but there is actually a lot of really funny straight humour in it as well. That scene where AJ and Pinkie have the stare-down was funny to watch, but it wasn't until I watched it this morning that I heard the Unsound Effects that everyone was making while those two were doing it. Absolutely awesome.
So I must ask, before I read it: Is the most recent one as soul-crushing as the first two parts were?

And there is not too much to say about it,it works as a bridge for the sequels and well is quite interesting,not as sad as the second episode in my opinion.
