Google plus did it. Anything under 1mb (I think) doesn't get counted to the album size.

It happened to me with Photobucket: One day 10 GB max, next day unlimited.

And Google will automatically resize photos for you when you upload them to Google+, so they stay under the free size limit.

First it says it only does it when you reach the storage limit, but then it talks like it just does it whenever.

When a picture larger than 2048*2048 goes to Google+, it is rezised.

So what you are saying is if I continue doing exactly what I've been doing, nothing will be any different on my end, with the only difference being that HUEG LIEK XBAWKS images will be the only ones that take up storage space?

In less "why do I find this concept so difficult to understand" news, I was thinking about doing more races this Saturday. I don't currently have anything on my plate, but if there is any interest I can keep my schedule open. Maybe we can make Saturday races @ 3 into a weekly thing.
