Nurburgring is hard, if you play the 24h endurance back at GT4 you get a pretty good idea of where the bumps are, the problem is that different cars react different to the bumps, in my case I just play it and play it until I get a clean lap(used to do that all the time back with the GT-R). There are times when several attempts are made to correct the different mistakes(bad breaking points, bad cornering points and silly mistakes like getting a bit off road), but there is a point in which is hopeless and there is when a stop of attempts is required.
The best strategy after 10 or 15 attempts without luck is to stop altogether and try latter, tension builds up because there are point in which mistakes have to be overcome, this creates a status of "overtension" which is problematic at the time of tackling posterior corners and high speed corners. What is ironic about it is that I love that track because of that, there is really a sense of knowledge and intuition that builds up as you get faster and faster on the lap times, there is also a nice sense of achievement when the target time is achieved, and you know you can go faster(for the record, my fastest lap archived with the GT-R before selling the PS was 7:20 and that was it, I couldn't get lower than that, not even by tuning and I know that 7:18 is possible).[/Off topic Nurburgring experience]
Apart from that, By looking at that Ask prince tumblr something pop into my mind: The size of the horn really matters?. I mean, Celestia has more magic than all the other ponies, therefore she has the biggest horn, but that isn't the case because Twilight's horn is smaller than Trixie's. Is certainly a peculiar mystery to be solved, not to mention that Rarity seems to have the biggest horn among normal unicorns besides of prince douche.
And ask pinkamina updated, which makes me want to see an Iron Chef style duel between Lecter and Diane, Sauté stake or Cupcake, who will win?
