I honestly thought Eureka Seven kinda sucked most of the time (I've seen it twice and half the stuff in the second "season" still doesn't make any sense), outside of a weird meta fascination of having a character voiced by Crispin Freeman constantly perform child abuse against someone who looked like Chris Thorndyke. Also, Renton was a whiny douche.

Now, a wacky romantic comedy, on the other hand... Have like a Tenchi Universe situation, where everyone is all over Dash but Dash only really reciprocates to one of them (who would be in this example Applejack).

No, wait! Inuyasha! The sexual tension could be dragged out over a million episodes while the main storyline keeps getting sidetracked by random fetchquests. I'd watch it.
