I've been extremely busy this December, and my little free time usually reserved for pony was taken up by me having to hand-hold CoffeeGrunt through several rounds of TF2. Such a shame that I always have to carry the team... *sigh*

My weekend was also completely shot; all of you following me on DA (CG and unit ) will be happy to know that instead of drawing ponies, I've been doing more amateur photography, so there's that.

As for Toro and Kim Jong-il, well, ole Kimmie was kinda stumpy... Like a tree. And we all know what happens to trees within Toro's line of sight. Hell, this might even explain his utter aversion to Fluttershy.

So, I'm thinking of perhaps submitting something for the EqD Draw-Off thing. The idea for a comic that I have is gonna take up a lot of panels since it's a sort of "Day in the Life" kinda thing. Lots of panels means lots of coloring, which is incredibly time-consuming... So now I don't know if I want to do that and risk not meeting the deadline, or just do one static image.

What do you guys think?

Time yourself making a few panels. One sitting. See how long it takes, then figure out how many man-hours it would take to get your idea down. If it's an absurd amount of time...probably not the best idea.

Let's just hope Celestia banishes Hasbro, or whoever else did this, to the moon, or in the case of the remains, hell hole. Here's what I have to say:

Hasbro themselves sent Ponyarchive a C&D about a week ago. Seth reported on it, and reported that they were going to keep going in spite of that.


This was Hasbro putting their foot down.

The website got a Cease & Desist order from Hasbro.


Trolls can report YouTube videos until they're automatically dropped, but they can't fake being Hasbro to get an entire site to shut down.


And the site was linking to direct downloads of iTunes rips. I can understand completely why it was shut down. And it's really not that difficult to get them from YouTube or a few other places.
