Right, so The Night That Never Ended - Chapter 18:

The big 2 answers I was hoping for being that Universe A Celestia and Twilight are definitely dead.


Anyway, the cliff hangers. We've said for damn near every chapter since 9 that everything was going to go to 🤬 next chapter. This time, there's no guessing, it's as sure a thing as ever that the battle will happen in the next chapter. And Dash and Twilight reaching Ponyville first is actually something I didn't really expect. I was honestly expecting them to reach Fluttershy first so she could help with Pinkie. I'm really....curious to see how they handle her when it's just the 2 of them. And I'm actually looking forward to seeing how NMM handles the whole Trixie thing. I know she'll take action, but I'm really eager to see how it plays out.

And during that scene where NMM was speaking with Celestia, my whole body was really tensed up. I mean, I was pretty much frozen while reading that whole part.

And I'm pretty sure your supposed to shut trap doors. Not.....that.

I.....think that's everything. I probably forgot to mention something, though.

I said pretty much everything I needed to in the chat earlier, plus I also thought the fact that Twilight and RD reaching Ponyville before Zecora's house was an unexpected occurrence.

And one more thing I'd like to find out is where Cap Dash plans to go, seeing as the prison door was left open after NMM's moment of humility. Will she end up helping New Ponyville, or even bump into Twi and RD by accident? Either way, I get the feeling she will perish before the end of the story. It's just a feeling though, and I've had it since chapter 15, or thereabouts.

Ha, there's a lot of typo's in this one. The one with the doors was truly a WTF moment. And Big Mac is not the Captain, he's the Leader.

Okay, now seriously.

NMM starts to realize that she made a mistake? But she has no will to admit it. She keeps lying to herself that this is the best for everypony.

It was an extremely sad moment when she had a flashback about Celestia. She killed her own sister that didn't even fought back. Killed... brutally...

And Twilight is gone too. Spitfire... Soarin... hell knows how many died there.

How about Vinyl and Octavia? Lyra, BonBon, CMC's, Cherelee, Gilda? At this rate there will be no one left!

I have no idea what is on NMM's mind. Who knows... maybe she will ask Twilight for help? To bring everything back to normal?

oh god... she killed Celestia! She killed the Sun and the Element of Magic!

Yeah, I'm still shaking.

The siege has started. New Ponyville can only evacuate while the strongest fight and die.

This is depressing. A wall... that is not even finished. The only defense they got.

Gravekeeper, I finally got around to reading the latest chapter of the Ballad. (I think it was the latest) Very nice work. I actually enjoyed the whole chapter which is rare for me.

If it's going to be in a future chapter then you don't need to tell me, but if it was already mentioned can you please tell me?

One last question... Does Rarity "like" Twilight? I have a feeling she does, a pretty strong one after how she was acting, but I'm not 100% sure if it's because she likes her or if she regrets casting that spell on another pony. I particularly enjoyed the jokes in that chapter, good cop bad cop, Trixie admiring Twilights cutie mark and the others. I loved them.

Well, that was the catalyst really. She probably would have just kept her imprisoned indefinitely, or perhaps dispose of her in a less brutal manner at some point in the future.

Really though, her hatred was at it's max when she ended Celly. The fact that NMM killed her simply because she still forgave her actions was pure evil.
