XSplit Broadcaster is what me and Toro use. It's the best I know of, too.

2) As far as fics go, I still have Crescent's origin story (still needs a title), my pony kart fic (more fictional than the first, but it will be significant), and the short-ish fics that include Toro and Coffee. That list now includes Minty and and Starfighter.
