Yep, I know, but (here's the sign of a true Mary Sue) there's a lot I'm not telling you. By Immortal, I mean he won't die of old age... Ever. Plus, in the story he's in, ponies in general get a boost of awesome, I'd say greater than good old Sagittarius.

Basically, yes, he is, but he's in a universe full of the damn things, and he just happens to be the one with a gun.

I hate to be that guy, but I have a request: If any of you guys want to share Chrysalis or changeling artwork, can you please link to it offsite instead of posting the pictures in the thread proper?







For the most part they don't bother me, but on occasion there have been ones that have been posted in the thread since the episode aired (such as the last one in the most recent post TopGearFTW made featuring her) which have been deeply disturbing to me, to the extent of extreme physical discomfort (ie. involuntary reflexive responses) at times. I've already taken the steps to filter out just about everything that I can think of relating to the two on Ponibooru, and I'd prefer to not have to worry every time I open up the thread that such physical reactions to such pictures will happen in response to stuff posted in here.

I hate to ask this as much as Logan does, but like he said, if you'd like to share changeling art I only ask that you link to it rather than posting it directly.


While my reaction may not be quite as strong there is some art that bothers me enough to go as far as filtering changelings and Chrysalis entirely on Ponibooru. And all of those precautions are for nothing if I still risk seeing the same art I'm trying to avoid here in the thread.


I really am sorry for asking this, but please understand that this really does bother us. We wouldn't ask this if it weren't important.

While I agree the 3rd is a tad creepy (the holes in her hoof aren't round making them look painful) I don't really get why you find it so... disturbing.

That kind of art (3rd pic) could have been with any other pony and it probably would be just as creepy. What I'm trying to get at is, why do you have a problem with it? (Not judging, just curious)

I really am sorry for asking this, but please understand that this really does bother us. We wouldn't ask this if it weren't important.

I understand why Logan and yourself don't want to view such art in the thread without being warned about it by whoever is posting it. I respect both your wishes though, having warned you about certain images before in the chat, and I have no intention of posting any Chrysalis art, depending on whether or no you would be alright with in being posted (inevitable JJ humanised version, or the one Akira posted, for example).

I do get why they feel that way, even though I feel pretty much the same as you do about it. By my understanding, Logan has Trypophobia, so I can see why he would have a physical reaction to such images.

It's definitely the holes, but I don't think my feelings, while being similar to an extent, are strong enough to justify calling it a phobia. And I can't really say I expect anyone else to feel the way I do because I really don't know why it bothers me as much as it does.








And Logan is clearly much more bothered by it than me(and some of it really does make me extremely uncomfortable), so please, if you don't do it for me at least do it for him; I don't want anyone to be legitimately afraid to click on this thread every day. Again, all I ask is that you link the images. We don't want to stop you all from sharing art you enjoy, but if it elicits that kind of physical reaction from anyone I think it's worth only posting those images as links to help them out.

Yeah, I'll respect your wishes, seeing as I don't want some of the main contributors in this thread to be turned off all of a sudden by art that makes them feel uneasy. I just hope the others here will take heed.

I'll just say that I don't have it filtered on Ponibooru, and I did see a few that I hope you two don't come across. I just hope they tag those images properly, but if not, then I'll do so.
