I'm still happy I'm one of the minority of people who has an OC that you could imagine seeing in the show.

My one used to be one that would fit in if placed in the show. I just used Ponycreator, and that's it... And a ridiculous 5 OC evolutions later and it most definitely wouldn't be seen in show, as I wanted something original, something different from everyone else's OC's.

I'm not complaining, not by any stretch of the imagination. It's always interesting to see designs people come up with, they're usually eye catching and cool. Thing is, ponies in the show usually aren't eye catching, as far as a pastel pony can get, nor are they really unique.

If you took a bunch of the fandom's ponies and made the show out of them, it'd look much, much different.

Can't really avoid the spoilers for it this week though, especially on EqD. Even after I saw the episode info a couple of weeks ago I wanted to limit how much I knew about this week's episode, but I've seen enough now that there's no point avoiding it.

People have explicit avatars on the site and they show in the comments on links. Not to mention it takes you a single click away from vast amounts of porn that would drive most people insane just to imagine.

Just upload the image somewhere else or something.


Unless you meant post the image URL. That would probably be fine as long as it doesn't take you anywhere the rest of the site is linked to.

Unless the 621 block is server wide (meaning GTP senses a link of any kind from the domain), at which point it would just block it anyway and probably draw moderator ire. Which would be particularly silly in the first place since the picture (like probably all pictures that can be posted in this thread but are found on 621) is on Derpibooru.

I suggest you post the image from Derpibooru instead. Or follow the source link to deviantArt (or whatever site it was originally uploaded to) next to the image on e621 (or DB) and post it from there, like most of us here do.

At least then you won't have to go about saving an image every time you want to post it here.

I would never post the page link from e621 since it's full of porn ads. The image link just has the image. If people take away the rest of the url to get to the mane site that's their mistake.

I can clearly see the comments, the tags, and the bar along the top of the site linking to the rest of the site. Linking straight to the image clearly doesn't work as intended.

So you might as well just not post images if going to DB is too much work.
