About a year ago I had an idea for a fanfic, the idea revolved around Trixie seeking revenge for Boast Buster's events, and bla bla bla ...

A somewhat general setup for almost every single Trixie story (except on Gravekeeper's Pièce de résistance, which was more about silly ponies doing silly stuff ... yeah). So it led to about the same outcome, a magic-off between Trixie and Twlight, which is about what we see now. Of course my story had more stuff (it had lasers, magic, shipping, drama, terror, comedy) and it was about as epic as Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, I guess the episode wont be 10 hours long, which is a shame.

Anyway, my point is ... Trixie is back! :3

Of course my story had more stuff (it had lasers, magic, shipping, drama, terror, comedy) and it was about as epic as Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, I guess the episode wont be 10 hours long, which is a shame.

I know you told me about much of it last night, I still wish you had what you'd written saved somewhere. And I need a source for that nice-looking crystal Trixie. I've not seen it before.

Oh, and I won't bother with any livestream bullcrap today. It's not a pleasant way to watch an episode for the first time, which has been the case twice for me this season (adverts, people talking over the episode, streams getting hacked, etc...). Might as well wait 2 hours or so for a HD upload instead.

But really, the story's that Trixie's still a bitch, finds a forbidden artifact, becomes really powerful (Twilight's suffering some kind of conservation of ninjutsu here or something, no reason why she's suddenly weak as hell, she didn't even bother teleportaling) and also evil, beats Twilight, who then comes back and scams Trixie.

If I'm honest, this episode was way better than I hoped it would be. There was so much more comedy than I would have expected as well. God I laughed.

Also, I can't remember if anypony actually said "Alicorn" in previous episodes to be honest, so this might have been a first. And I'll admit that Trixie was surprisingly repentant for what she had done, but... she was bloody cute when she did so. :3
