Brake pedal did not work now.
Please look the picture and say me pinout is rigth ?

i have 3.3 volt on "potentiometr 3" (blue cable) i think it's not normal.
may be you give me advise how i can fix this problem ?

ps. sorry for my bad english

After a few minutes of playtime the fans get really loud and then FFB becomes very weak. Has anyone experienced this problem and can I fix it?

The wheel is really old, probably more than 5 years and i was noticing fans growing louder in the recent months so i sorta already made peace with this eventuality.

Do u advice on buying a T500 for ps4(mainly) and pc?

I dont like logitech ones.
And for reasonably price there are only t300,t500.

I had 2 t300 and both gave me problems within the first few days and returned them

Seems like the t500 as the only option....

The T500 is powerfull, more so than the T300 and TX. However it is not as smooth as the T300 and TX. It is reliable though if you get the newer version with the GT6 box, that version has the newer cooling design. Are you in the USA? I have a T500 I've been thinking about selling. I am using a SimuCUBE now.

Is it ps4 compatible?
TS-PC Racer is only for PC,but there will be new PS4 compatible Thrustmaster wheel probably this year.

Also there will be new officially licensed PS4 Fanatec wheel this year.

Quite a monster of a base. I'd love that monstrosity sitting on my Playseat base... maybe.

I'd assume all the wheel prices will sky rocket once GT Sport hits?

If i finally buy the T500 along side with de thustmaster ferrari GTE 458 add-on will i have static and rotating paddle shifters simultaneously?, or the rotating paddle shifters from the add-on will override the original ones?

You will have static and rotating simultaneously, you can remove the static paddles very easily without voiding any warranty if you wish to.

hey, few month ago i buyed a t500rs, now from few days it seems it has developed a problem when wheel return to the center, probably a belt. I do a video, i don't know it is normal or not?

$725 AUD in August 2011 for me and it's still going strong, except that blasted 11 o'clock off-centre calibration thing still hits every now and then, no matter what I do. I'd hate to think how many times I've reset it to centre, only for it to centre at 1 o'clock the next time I go to use it.:boggled:

I've also updated the drivers and firmware many times and they are up to date now.

I had mine from 2011 to 2016. Had to replace it then, but that was my own fault. I tightened the mounting screws too much.
I have to say though that the newer version is better. Less noise, and those 4 screws in the middle don't come loose any more.

I've had my T500 since 2011 -- it was one of the first wheels to appear on store shelves in central Indiana at the time. Still going strong. :)

I hope I have that kind of luck with my T300. Almost two years with no real issues. Though I haven't used it very much in the last few months.

A good friend of mine recently jumped ship from a Fantec CSR Elite to a T500 with the F1 rim.
He was Fanatec to the core for years and gave me some amount of stick when I bought a T500 last year after my Turbo-s gave up the ghost.
He's completely converted now though, he reckons the 5 absolutely blows the Elite out of the water for smoothness, response, power, everything.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing from him tbh.
He's absolutely right though of course. :D

Hi friends.

I bought a T500 on March, 2011, and after three years out of sim racing I bought a G27 with real rim on November, 2015.

Today I'm considering to adquire another T500, and I like to know what's the most recent version, and what are the most important improvements respect the first units.

Thanks in advice.

Hi friend. :)
This post (and the next 4-5) should give you some good info. For me the most significant changes are much less noise and no more issues with those bolts in the steering shaft (which I had to tighten once in a while on the older version of the wheel).

I would suggest though - if you have the budget for it (and you are on PC) - that you consider the Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer also. It should have faster and more precise ffb (like the T300) while being a bit more powerful than the T500. Or so I have read.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I don't have the budget for TS PC Racer; that's why I'm considering a T500 again.

What about the comparison between T300/T500? Really T300 has got a more precise force feedback than T500?

Thanks again.

I don't have the T300 so I'm just going with what I've read. Maybe @skazz might be the right person to answer your questions.

The best way to compare T300 and T500 is like two amplifiers: One does very soft to reasonably loud, so you hear very small details nicely while still going acceptably loud. The other does moderately soft to very loud, for a more visceral experience.

I have always felt that the two wheels have a similar "dynamic range" of FFB, just operate in a different way. And in reality there's no noticeable absence of FFB forces felt between the one or other, just in how forcefully they are displayed.

The bigger difference between the wheels isn't FFB quality, it's the amount of resistance when you turn the wheel. The T300's combination of improved belt drive and smaller, weaker but brushless motor allows it to spin easily. So while the T500 will spin less easily than a G27, the T300 probably spins slightly easier than a G27, despite having belts and plenty more power.

For a lot of people this combination of reasonable power and free spinning gives the better compromise, because the T300 is mostly fast enough to simulate self-aligning torque forces during oversteer moments but you can manhandle it easily. This gives a greater feeling of control compared to the T500, which with the greater resistance and more powerful motor is often going to require you to fight against it in oversteer moments. Again, the T500 is a more visceral and exciting experience, but definitely harder to be quick and smooth with.

If you prefer that feeling of fighting against the car and powerful FFB then the T500 is better.
If you always turned down the T500 FFB to make it easier to use, then the T300 is exactly what you are really looking for.
If you miss the easy rotation of the G27, then again the T300 feels like a G27 improved in every way.

P.S. If you want both the power and the control, then it sounds like TS-PC Racer (or a Fanatec CSL Elite) is the best answer right now
